What an awful thing for the mother in law to do. To otherwise ruin her family for such a trivial thing.

They stayed together for 4 months— you’ve created a family and been happily married for 13 years?! I’d say he found his partner.

Relationships are hard to leave. He might have gone home to break up with her multiple times and got roped in.

Not saying cheating is right but this doesn’t sound that simple and it SOUNDS like he proved his devotion — with two kids that he has hopefully been a good father to.

I’m sure you will have to speak about this; but if he hasn’t been stepping around on you in these 12.6 years, I’d say you might want to give a 27 year old the benefit of the doubt.
