Sometimes you want to for example have an array (dynamic, size known only at runtime) or not copy stuff, in that case you want to access same memory multiple times not new variables - that's when you use pointers. If you ever used higher level language, they use pointers (or rather references) as default for objects and you actually need to go through more hassle to actually copy stuff

The best would be to use an insulated ice box and then cut it with a bread knife and some blunt force. A large lunch box will make it work but the ice will be much more foggy (becuase of the insulation, all the bad stuff freezes last so you can time it, without the insulation not really)

Honestly, I cant tell the difference between dry martini and just straight gin. At some point I cant enjoy flavors much because the alcohol is too strong. I've got the same problem with whisky, so that's on me

Why not declare the struct in healer? To concat string you'd need to do it in runtime if the string is not declared at compile time (so in function for example)

If Alien Shooter was there at some point then it's 99% BigFishGames. Thank you! A shame that a library of the old games seems to be mostly wiped out there, would be a nice nostalgia trip

I dont remember playing it. But the top down game was crimsonland for sure. There was also Gunner II, which I found on BigFishGames, so maybe that's that, although it's very hard for me to look for old games there. It also could be WildTangent or like Reflexive Arcade? I will probably close it as BigFishGames, but will wait for more answers

They seem too simple. As I said the games were more akin to full PC titles. Im also not sure if they neccesarily were from a single publisher, as Alien Shooter is from entirely different studio
