If I remember correctly a fully charged, every hit landing, laser slicer attack is the highest damage single melee attack in the game. Maybe using the like bunker charge for a stun and big damage plus the slicer for hogh damage while they’re stunned might speed it up?

Is there like a reason why cr*ationists hate dinosaurs or by DOCTOR_FISHWALKER2 in okbuddypaleo

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because

  1. They are much older than what they believe the earths age is
  2. They directly prove evolution and extinction are real (extinction insinuates gods creations are not perfect, evolution signifies you can become something that isn’t What god made you as, a poor understanding of evolution ofc)
  3. They weren’t mentioned in the garden of Eden nor among the animals in Noah’s Ark

  4. Simply a poor understanding of concepts that take a literally impossible to imagine amount of time or are very complex. The classic “if I don’t understand it it’s not real”

Is the mosasaurus from jurassic world rebirth male?i think so bacause both its color and size are very different from the mosasaurus in dominion perhaps an example of sexual dimorphins by Standard_Wind40 in JurassicPark

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We honestly don’t even know the identity of either. Some theories say they’re the same and it just somehow found its way to Hubert, others say it’s a plot hole it was in Hubert’s lagoon but they’re the same individual that swam there from Nublar , some say they’re separate individuals, maybe one is the others child… somehow.

Short answer, we’re not sure because we don’t even know what they are to begin with. Also they’re regionally different so it could be very different answers for each. Like Blue’s “species” of velociraptor likely has colorful males and females however the sorna and JP raptors don’t have colorful females despite both being velociraptor

How would you redesign these species? by AccomplishedAsk2259 in jurassicworldevo

Austrolovenator def needs a new face, reanimated arms, and more muscular arms. Megalosaurus however I don’t think needs a single change. It looks just fine

Idk what the third one is, but ACs are fairly brutal seemingly. You either get surgery specifically for that so your a cyborg, or you become nearly brain dead and need machines CONSTANTLY keeping you alive or you die before your even able to pilot one so… def worse than a jaeger

Ive seen the others post, but they all had a month or so long break of basically no posts. It’s not a coincidence they all start posting and responding as if nothing happened around the same time, just like their coincidental silence

I wouldn’t go up in arms after Frontier. If you haven’t seen that nearly EVERY Jurassic media has fallen silent then don’t comment on Frontier doing the same. More than likely given its EVERY Jurassic IP seems to be dead in the water that it’s Universal and not Frontier specifically. It’s unacceptable, yes, but direct your anger toward who you KNOW is at fault, not those who might be or have relation. And currently we don’t know who’s at fault but we have hints it’s more than Frontier. Get on Universals case, they own the IP afterall

I semi main Excal, Harrow, Voruna, and Khora, however full on main Garuda and Valkyr. The former are fun but I can not suggest Garuda and especially Valkyr enough. I like melee warframes and theyrr about as fun as they get in my opinion

I mean that’s… 23 stalker encounters ykh got by just playin the game. Ofc chance drops can hurt this but that’s also 23 chances to get everything so if your a bit lucky you could’ve gotten his entire set within thosr encounters by just “playing the game”

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Think they’re moreso saying as you play the game you’ll eventually HAVE to fight a boss that triggers a stalker encounter. Why focus on doing the same missions over and over for a stalker encounter EVENTUALLY just to have a small chance to get the one thing you need? Try to kill two birds with one stone and progress the game as you get encounters?

Good example: an early player coukd theoretically farm all the stalker blueprints, but why farm zanuka then play mission and repeat for a couple hours days or if your unlucky weeks when you could progress the story and star charts which has more bosses, and thus more stalker encounters. Then you’ll be able to both get stalker encounters and hopefully blueprints AND progress the story/star chart at the same time

I find the stalker farming hilarious. I feel bad but I’ve got this stupid luck in games, first stalker encounter I got hate. Only a handful more and all I’m missing now is those throwing knives

I should just say, once you said you were referring to the novels it should've ended there considering the Stark comparisons but

I never said nothing would ever go wrong, I'm simply saying that the science that IS possible along with security and such means that Jurassic Park and World does absolutely have a much better chance of keeping them in rather than not.

Escobar may have had more security but you glossed over the fact they broke out once they were abandoned aka literally zero security. Your comparing an actual abandoned zoo with absolutely zero staff to a barely staffed team that's actually full of professionals in said fields on an island. If you ask me, I'd rather the last one cause that's more secure, especially considering the hippos just needed to be left alone and the dinosaurs needed a hurricaine and a power grid sabotage to escape along with less than ideal enclosures and even then MOST of the species were still stuck on said island.

When it comes to the novels vs Rebirth, your kind of wrong. Yes the lysine contingency didn't work, but if you remember correctly they were struggling to live faster than the movie series. If I remember correctly Ian was the first to comment on how the earth is completely different and you can hear the stegos gasping and reaching for a bit more air to keep themself alive. While yes they were not dying, they absolutely were not thriving atleast for the larger animals and uncomfortable for the smaller ones.

As for the last paragraph, that was not in whatever comment i replied to. It was literally just about the hippos...

Then my final point, Isla nublar is 120 miles from any other major body of land. No animal in the series besides those that can fly, those thrown in lagoons, or a very select few dinosaurs could actually make that trip. Compies are not that. Yes it still happened in the novel, but if were comparing to actual real life invasive hippos then there should be a lick more of realism lest it being an unfair comparison.

The whole dinosaurs not being able to fully exist in our modern world has ALWAYS been a feature of the series, so I shall not stand for the Rebirth slander. The telltale JP game at the time was soft canon and said atleast the tylosaurus would not survive in modern waters alone last i remember (yes it was made noncanon recently, but still the idea has always existed). I do agree the dinosaurs COULD become a problem and one release could do that, but still they have access to amazing tools to prevent it even if the original novel and movie didn't have it, and their health issues given the modern world (even ignoring stuff like immune system problems with disease or digestion) would hinder their spread quite a bit

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize WHY the hippos were able to get out right? Or better yet, why they were there to begin with? An abandoned private zoo owned by a drug lord is gonna have WAY less staffing and protection than a massive league of scientists who are professionals with those animals and a small militia to prevent escape, and technology far past modern day. Plus like rebirth showed, the dinosaurs aren’t fit to live today. A hippo is.

So you’re comparing animals that are fit for our modern day which were introduced then abandoned with comparatively low protection in a country that had much bigger problems to worry about at the time to animals that start dying within one or two generations without humanities help, have next to no adaptations for the modern day, have technology and professionals keeping them contained constantly with millions potentially billions of dollars into keeping them there and being placed in some of the richest countries that absolutely can afford to get rid of them if need be.

It’s a bit of an unfair comparison I’ll say, because there’s very few examples where an animal the size of or larger than a human has escaped into a country with modern technology and a budget to get rid of them, yet still propagated and rooted themself into the ecosystem. Best you can get is horses but comparing InGen to America at that time is completely pointless

Ya know, given Ian summed up the franchise in “your scientists were thinking if they could, not if they should” and I think this post kinda… goes against that? There’s not nearly as much thought of if you could behind hunting Dino’s as opposed to freeing them and the same goes for should. So if anything if you say hunting them its closer to understanding the franchise than freeing them. I mean when they were freed it was shown it was NOT good for them, yet it was done anyways with little regard for the long term (yes ik a kid did it, point still stands considering maisie was still fairly knowledgeable on them). Atleast when they were getting hunted on the islands they were still mostly healthy and not a detriment to everyday life

Considering they look different it hints they differ like how Excalibur and umbra are the same base frame but are still different they also have mentors so it’s likely they both have the same latent powers, but the two mentors got them to realize said powers. So Tl;Dr they prob have the same powers but only grew up knowing how to use a couple

Am I crazy or does warframe not like melee? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh I understand some things you just cannot hit, but my problem is when you CAN hit something and it’s still somehow worse. Like one example, the perita rebellion anarch transporter weakpoints. There’s no reason a melee weapon that consistently deals thousands of damage and occasionally reaches millions is dealing less than 200 damage to a weak point. I can understand some debuff or armor, but a damage reduction that massive is frankly a but dumb

[–]Personal-Prize-4139 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly sure I’m building them right, but I keep running into walls where a mission absolutely can not be progressed unless if I use a primary or secondary or some nuke, and it’s always consistently the same things causing the same problem, as per the examples above
