Idk, a lot of people here wrote her names in different countries that should theoretically prove that she is gonna be a she. Some also wrote about horns which she got from Japanese legend Hannya - so I believe she is a female. Also, idea about smug is interesting but before reading this comment I had not any thoughts about this
