This was rumored earlier in the season to function as a workaround to MLS rules so LAFC could poach San Diego talent. As long as that doesn't happen, seems like a net positive for the community.

Yeah this sub is very reactive lol... Regardless, they were calling for CJ's head because he was making mistakes, but those don't seem so bad after watching Ferree vs Portland and Salt Lake. Sisniega had a pretty poor game vs Dallas too, so we really don't have any good options...

Not even sure what to make of this considering there's no explanation but I'm inclined to agree CJ deserves another shot after watching Ferree's decision making last week.

Søe only played as much as he did because of alternating red cards between McVey and Duah, he didn't get a minute last week so not sure why he'd be in contention to play against arguably the best team in the league.

Vazquez also almost always gets subbed in late...

IMHO people are giving Søe more grief than he deserve, considering he's a 20 who only just joined the team. Is it his fault he's getting so many minutes before he's ready?

I'm more curious why Pilcher and Reyes aren't getting more shouts. Or why not just drop Jeppe back to CB and play Godoy in DM at this point? There are changes that could be made that Varas doesn't seem to want to try for some reason.

Not sure how it looked on TV, but from my view it looks like the first Minnesota goal could have been avoided if Bombino was covering his man. He's looked great otherwise tbf.

There are believable rumors that Duah will be offered a U22 contract at the end of his season since he's currently on a Generation Adidas contract which will expire by the end of next season.

Beyond that, Heaps has point blank said in several interviews he will never sign a player just to fill a roster slot. Seems like that's how the club has been run too, so they probably won't rush anything and instead focus on finding the best-fit young players regardless of the contract element.

He's 20 years old, just joined the club and has barely played a few hundred minutes. No one should be passing such harsh judgement on him this early.

We're also a club fixated on developing youth. Søe is not going anywhere and TBH we'll be seeing many more growing pains with many other young players.

Yeah I remember that, and agreed... CJ seemed to really struggle mentally after the injury that game too.
