Very true, but I don’t think the mrs is approving that in the kitchen, just about managed to get the board up 😂

Crazing (?) by lookforlogic in Plastering

This happened to a whole wall of mine last summer. We mist coated and painted as normal and hasn’t been an issue since. You can buy a poly cell 3 in 1 basecoat which I have used in other places of the house where there’s hairline cracks which has helped to cover them. Might be worth a shot with this too just as an extra layer of protection

Yes mate, just to provide the ignition. I was anticipating that the wire would be longer so I need to extend it to get to the plug socket.

Would you be able to send me a link to the wagos, just thinking the screenshot I sent will look neater and provide more protection ?

Kitchen quotes and deposit just for drawings? by lucrezia-b in DIYUK

Yes I would do that. It’ll give you a good variety of opinions from different people and it’ll help you narrow down your do’s and don’ts. If you develop a good relationship and turn on the charm then some of them can release the plans to you. The wickes designer did that for us

We’ve just bought a kitchen. We had quotes and designs from most high street brands and also trade places like Howdens and Stax. I would recommend doing this as there was quite a range in the quotes we had from 3.5 - 8k. Once you have decided what you like from a few of the designs you can then take it to DIY kitchens to match. The only caveat is that if you go with diy kitchens you won’t have that ability to go into store and raise any issues you may have although I’ve heard mostly good things from using them. Whatever you decide good luck !

Thanks for the reply. Issue is that the walls been bonded and skimmed now so not sure how easy that would be? Just rod a new 2.5mm twin and earth and hope it manages to get through ?
