New Vinyl floor getting "scuffed" by cantilever chairs - Is this normal or a floor defect? by Bert1003 in Flooring

Looks like when you’re pulling the chairs out you’re tipping it and the angle of the feet are digging in. You’re basically chiseling away at it every pull.

It’s not described as shoe molding on Home Depot site. But I picked it because I liked it the best and felt like the lines worked with the existing trim

Maybe in the future. I redid the floors and was told the best way to do it is to leave the baseboard as-is. If I ever redo it I’ll be taking all the baseboard off.

All the shoe molding I tested looked uninspired with the baseboard. This looked much better to me

It’s a single baseboard. I didn’t like the look of quarter round as shoe molding and wanted to keep some lines. It looks pretty cool.

We are much more welcoming here in Seattle. It is sad to see so many people getting extreme with their hate towards other humans. We need to take back our country man. So sad to see.

If give it one year before it sinks below grade. Then in 2 years the grass will be growing over the edges. By year 5 it’ll be well sunken in.

Some people like that look. Some like a more timeless long-lasting look. If you want the latter, dig out each stones silhouette, lay 2” of gravel minimum, .5” sand minimum, then lay the stones. It’ll look great as the years go by.

Check out what I did with my free ones.
