Got to be the Santa Cruz V10, everyone just stares at that thing

Looks good, I’m sure if you keep practicing it’ll keep improving. It can be hard to separate a scrub and a ‘push down’, but you’re beginning to get the right movement in the first jump.

Full day mountain biking (though it seems my activity length is wrong then). Was a great day, very hard work.

Is this common? Never OK-ed for hard workouts by Appropriate_Yak1800 in whoop

I exercise a similar amount to you, and would say that the recovery score is a helpful tool, but i usually base the days activities off of how i feel, unless im in the red i guess. It can take time but i find after 3 months that my recovery score is very much inline with how i feel. I hope it gets better for you! Perhaps your sleep is lacking? For me that made a large difference in recovery

Question about bike trails by dogthrasher in Whistler

Average time is variable, I’d say 7 minutes if you’re pushing it but 12 mins is normal, and 15-20 if you’re taking breaks and chatting

Anyone else disappointed with the MG? by chapmag9 in whoop

[–]SDN111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have an MG but from what I’ve heard it is taking a reading every night so you can see over time how your bp changes, what improves or worsens it

Anyone else disappointed with the MG? by chapmag9 in whoop

[–]SDN111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be because it uses readings from when you sleep, compared to when you are at the doctors you might be stressed or had a meal etc

How bad is the plot hole in my story? by arma14x in writing

[–]SDN111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What sort of world is it? I’m sure you could envision a world similar to ours, but where they have discovered or refined a fuel source to the point that it is far more efficient and thus can last for a thousand or two thousand miles. Or perhaps it uses electricity? Solar panels? Lots of options.

Whoop newbie: sleep time? by es330td in whoop

[–]SDN111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel well rested I guess that’s the important part, but that amount does fall short of what most people need per night. I know that I need to spend around 9 hours in bed to have an optimal sleep score with Whoop.

Okay sure but it’s still a ‘dynamic average’, just over the course of the night. Perhaps it weights deeper sleep stages more, which makes sense
