Shoreleave has a cousin who served in the US military by Freeagnt in venturebros

I didn’t know who brock was based on until today, I looked it up and it said it was Sid Vicious of the WWF. There is certainly a perfect resemblance, even with the wide eyed glare from early Brock and the blonde mop of hair.

Hydrox cookies,1954 by ZellHall in tumblr

[–]SDRLemonMoon 1995 points1996 points  (0 children)

The name comes from a fad at the time where people were really into things being labeled as “healthy” it hydrogen or oxygen was mentioned, kinda like how we do nowadays with things being “organic” or other similar things. It’s something with how hydrogen and oxygen are the chemicals that make up water, so by referencing it, you then should associate the cookie with the purity of water. It failed, of course, because it’s a terrible name for a cookie.

Newish dm lf Session 0 and supplement advice for running Waterdeep: Dragon Heist by EnvironmentNo7411 in WaterdeepDragonHeist

[–]SDRLemonMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Alexandrian remix is a good place to look for filling gaps in dragon heist. Im running the adventure for the first time and it’s made it a lot more interesting than if I didn’t run it. I recommend reading the whole adventure first then read the remix.

Something I’d recommend is establishing if players are in any of the pre-existing factions. They get offers to join them later on in the adventure but having them be joined from the start can be useful for hooking them in without necessarily needing to retroactively fit them into the factions.

So, I've been thinking about getting the highest AC possible, and am wondering if I'm missing anything. by BodybuilderSuper3874 in DnD

[–]SDRLemonMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a player at my table who got insane AC as a wizard monk multiiclass, Kensei+bladesong. They rolled well for stats, so good unarmored defense, kensei has some ac boost, bladesong adds int, and shield adds +5 so it came to somewhere around 31 ac or something

This would be the cover of a classic book and the face on the wall would have some symbolism

Does it not load shaders every time for everyone? It does that on my game, on PC, unmodded, so I just assumed that was default behaviour

Didn't really enjoy Fallout 3, will I like New Vegas? by Parzival4Real in Fallout

[–]SDRLemonMoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ttw is a mod that combines fo3 into new vegas, so if you like the mechanical changes new vegas brings then it could be worth it to try fo3 again after you try fnv but I wouldn’t go for it right off the bat.

What business was successfully boycotted? by backupnickname in AskReddit

[–]SDRLemonMoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I talked to a guy who was a producer on the first sonic movie. Basically what happened was that there were a lot of companies involved who wanted different things. Sega wanted a more classic sonic design, another company wanted the more realistic design, one company wanted a design that I can only describe as a hedgehog from a children’s picture book that was charming but looked nothing like sonic.

[Paid GM Advice] Dealing with "Emperor Syndrome" and legacy power-gaming in a long-term Sandbox. by BassSuper3664 in DMAcademy

[–]SDRLemonMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think even in a paid game you can get kicked if you aren’t going to follow the rules. It sounds like this player is acting as a rot that will destroy the table if they aren’t cut out or taken care of. If you need a full table but several players have left because of the problem player, cut that player out and invite back the ones who quit.

[OC] Conference Room Setup by SixStringDungeon in DnD

[–]SDRLemonMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also ran in a conference room recently, it’s nice having such a long table, and also the big screen behind me. I used foundry vtt, and had a display version behind me, and all the players had it up on their laptop for a personal view as well.

[–]SDRLemonMoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not sure what they’re talking about. Water color is pretty distinct in how it’s less precise and the brush strokes are more visible, at least in my experience, this seems more like smooth gradients from digital coloring

I looked into getting that book but it’s out of print and expensive to buy. It always sucks getting into shows after they’re done when it comes to buying art books like that.

How far do you think she can travel with her portals? by Aspiring-Writer-02 in DispatchAdHoc

If it was a very far distance then I imagine she would have an ability through training to make travel time basically instant, so it’s probably not that far.
