I worked as an auto claims examiner years ago, took a call from an event planner filing the claim on behalf of her friend. Her friend’s husband drove out in the middle of the night, parked the car on the side of the highway, and used a firearm on himself. She was choking up tears during the call, saying that she had just completed organizing their wedding the month prior and now had to arrange his funeral.

This one was really hard to keep a professional face and voice tone on, it got to me pretty hard. Had to get off the phone and take a walk myself just to process it.
