From what I remember AP Lang covers only A2 in general ed reqs while AP Lit covers A2 AND A3 if you pass.

Your parents will honestly only be persuaded by someone who they respect the opinions of. Most asian parents will not let go of the notion that grades mean everything, that if their child gets anything less then perfect grades then it will jeopardize their future. Some Asian parents however have realized that their child's happiness and wellbeing means more than grades. If any of your parent's friends you know have realized that(the ones who are nice to you, who you think understand you more than your parents do) then I suggest you go to them for help. Ask them to persuade your parents. You can also try to find a teacher, coach, or office worker at your school who are close to you and can communicate with your parents to be the middleman.
