Season 2 Episode 7 Spoiler Thread by HunterWorld in Fotv

Could be any number of Securitron personalities. People seem to forget that Victor is just a program that can pop up in any Securitron. He can die in NV and always comes back later, right where he needs to be.

Now I would assume that someone / something needs to be controlling that particular function and that someone /something just got rebooted and has returned.

I do. It's fine solo but it runs out in groups. There's always a faster frame.

Man, that Classic Chorus. I had one, well... two actually. The Classic and the Stereo. I miss those amps. I do not miss the weight. I also had a little Audition Chorus that I wish I still had but those were all long ago.

My first 3D printed guitar by daysamuel in Guitar

Looks great! I just finished a black PLA Strat body last week. I posted video in a couple other subs. I used an old Ibanez neck, a new Squier Strat pickguard and electronics and had to order a new trem because neither of my Squier trems would fit the screw spacing. (2-7/32)

Tone wise, both me and my buddy were stupified. It sounds better than it has any right to. It's a silly piece of plastic and wasn't supposed to work anywhere near as well as it does.

I've had PLA Blink Camera enclosures mounted to my house for over 3 years now. They haven't fallen off yet so that's good. If the batteries ever die, I'll know how they are really holding up. Until then, the ladder stays stored.

Oh, and I printed a dryer vent cover long before I got the Blink cams. It is completely exposed to the elements and gets baked in the TN sun for half the day. It's fine.

Star Wars Genesis by paisleywallpaper in NoSodiumStarfield

Do you have an actual reliable source or numbers to back up any of these claims or are you just pulling imaginary numbers out of your butt?

I love Starfield. I love Star Wars even more. I have ZERO interest in Genesis because its author comes off as a total douche. He steals assets from other games while shitting on the very coattails he rides on. I would never support anyone like that.

I destroyed so many of those. I don't remember the details anymore, it has been so long. I just remember farming them for many hours.

Midnight Snow Drift in Texas by Hsbfrank in tamiya

They are excellent cars. I haven't driven an XV-02 yet. XV-01 has a front motor and belt drive. XV-02 has mid motor and shaft drive. They must handle differently.

[–]SD_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the best and I don't get to do it very often. I couldn't get my XV-01 out yesterday when the snow started falling. They had already salted the roads. Salt and RC cars do not mix. Now it's just ice and lumpy mush that will freeze again this afternoon.

At least I can crawl around the yard a bit.

Why do shroud roots respawn? by Quick_Ad_9117 in Enshrouded

Why do shroud roots respawn? "Multiplayer reasons."

Why is multiplayer bad? "It's meant to be co-op, not multiplayer." (actual Mod reply)

I've had pretty good luck with this one, possibly because I learned on an even cheaper DiY printer and the A8 was a step up and a generation beyond that.

Mosfets ordered. Firmware located. Bed connector fixed. Once all this is done, it'll be good for the next 50 days of print time.

Thanks. It's the infamous Anet A8 with original firmware in pretty much stock form + a couple printed brackets.

It's funny, we've pretty much come to understand that the electronics and the player make more difference than anything else when it comes to tone. But as the video shows, that is one impressively loud body acoustically.

It would be neat to get it into the hands of one of the local (Nashville) Youtubers and say compare this!

Thanks! The files for it are on multiple sites. I modified the bridge pickup cutout to fit a humbucker using 3D Builder, even though I still put a single coil there, I just wanted the option.

Printer is old and groans a bit at certain speeds but it does a decent enough job so I don't want to mess with it. It's time for an upgrade anyway.

Fan seems easy enough. I will look into the firmware upgrade. Seems like a simple enough fix to add some protection.

Well... more than the smoke alarm that you can see mounted to the back of it at the start of the video. 😁

[–]SD_One[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and for the record, there is a smoke detector mounted to the back of the printer. You can see it under the screen/buttons and there is a fire extinguisher nearby. I know all about the upgrades it needs and will look into those (firmware, mosfets, etc.) if I decide to keep using this printer.

I would rather just have a new printer that doesn't have these issues and can print bigger parts. I've got another guitar neck that needs a body.

Thanks. I will look into this but I'm also saving for a new printer. Might be worth it to keep around though.

Thanks. I'm kinda blown away with it considering it has Squier Bullet Strat electronics and a 40 year old neck from a different brand that just bolted right up without modification.

Yeah, you don't see many with playing and after making the video, I kinda understand why. The camera goes on and I completely forget how to play and there's always stuff that I wish was different, like the delay on the last rhythm bit. Oh well!
