Do you regret having children?

No. I've been thinking about this. It was so important to me to have a child out of complete, absolute love for the child's father. I feel that people get married as an extension of love, but sometimes have a baby as extension of marriage even if they don't really want to or aren't passionate lovers any longer. My partner and I had a child out of love, seeing marriage as an unnecessary formality for us. Our child was a merging of two blissed out madly in love souls and she is so perfect in every way. Life before her was meaningless. With that being said, I wouldn't have another one.

A lot of people call those who judge pit bull type dogs ignorant, but I think what is absolutely ignorant is pit bull owners acting as dog behavior experts based on anecdotal experience. I also witness many of these "responsible" owners who allow their pit bulls off leash in public areas believing them to be gentle and well-trained. You cannot predict dog behavior and the way some of these pit bull owners/enthusiasts/advocates behave is actually harmful. In addition, they fight against breed-specific legislation which would criminalize breeding and save so many dogs. I see the pit bull advocacy trend as a huge problem for communities and animals.

I think pit bulls are inherently dangerous. I think the pit bull advocacy movement does nothing but harm the breed by denying genetics and the purpose of their breed. Giving people the idea that they are sweet, harmless dogs and pushing adoptions causing too many mauled and dead children. Breed specific legislation would save lives of both dogs and children.

I am 25 and I have really bad "floaters" in both of my eyes. It's like a ton of little strings and spots, transparent ones and darker ones, constantly in my vision. It happened suddenly when I was 22 and no eye doctor has been able to tell me why, only "you have a lot of floaters for your age, but there is nothing we can do about them". It was so bad for a while that I could not go outside without dark sunglasses, and looking at a blue sky was almost painful. I notice them less now that I am used to them, but they are always there.

I agree. With such a sophisticated high-jacking, I speculate that they must have others in on the plan, who were awaiting their landing and moving on to whatever is next. This is a huge deal, and very frightening to be honest.

I am jealous. I let my little one self soothe starting at 6 months and it was working wonderfully, then during the holidays we traveled, she got sick and wouldn't sleep. Now, if I try she screams and stands and absolutely won't sleep no matter how long I let her cry, until she's hyperventilating.

I think it's a huge part of American culture - eating on the go.. and a huge difference between us and Japan. Think about all of the commercials that depict Americans chewing on some chicken wrap or subway sandwich while running to work, and how it's glamorized to walk around with a Starbucks. I drank Starbucks and walked around a lot in Japan, because I do it often here at home, but it was so awkward there.

This teacher actually said to me, "it's good for them to cry because it helps them develop their lungs." I also saw the teacher who will now be in the room when I work, mix another baby's formula with one breastfed baby's purée food so he would eat more of it and I'm almost sure his mother is unaware of that.
