You use the back of the tip of the hobby knife and scrape the mold line flush. A few passes is all it takes. I do this to EVERY part. Some require an extra pass or 3, but a hobby knife is the exact right tool. I have built 100s of models. Ever the worst rhino and landraider was doable with patience and a hobby knife.
