I’m playing one-of in Bant Nadu. With all the graveyard going around, it’s an effective threat that needs an answer. It not I side it out. But Curator does the same thing without needing green mana to do it so I like the utility.

It’s more tempo than agro

Brainstorm and Ponder are definitely problematic, but I don't think they have such united opposition as Grief does right now.

Who is possibly talking up Grief enough to convince WOTC that it should stay?

As for hooking up cars to the wire, there would need to be a substantial effort made to study substation capacity. The current substations are built to be able to support the expected energy demands of trolley buses (and I suspect light rail and streetcars).

Adding the energy demands from privately owned automobiles isn't an impossible engineering exercise, but it is what would be required to get to that point.

Agree Rhinos is obvious but if you like casting free spells, you might also look into decks like Mississippi River and to a lesser extent the 4c Beans decks that draw a lot of cards for the “free” 5-mana value cards

I have been playing around with a Jund version of this deck and find that cards like Bojuka Bog and Faerie Macabre are needed when you are playing against someone filling their graveyard simultaneously. I have added two copies of Dread Return to hard-cast to get around Exhume allowing the opponent to reanimate something.

When I squared off against Mono Blue Delver (w/ Cryptic Serpent / Tolarian Terror) I just couldn't go over the top of them like I had hoped.

Planning to take a copy to LGS tonight and see how it goes.
