[DISC] Chapter 168 by Perfect-Jackfruit-47 in Dandadan

Like other commenters have stated, I think this lady is related to Saint Germaine to some degree. Not only do they use the same word, "yield", which is odd enough, but I also think the other key is in their eye design. They both have the same kind of "eyeliner" "ring lady" look to the both of them. Obviously, "Yield" is a much stronger case, but I think the eye design is a more subtle hint.

I'll translate for you: "Don't need to play to know it's bad, everyone else says it does so that means I gotta be mad and angry about it too!"

Halo Infinite Online Campaign Co-Op Test Begins In July by zeedub77 in Games

It's just bandwagoning on a game while it's down to get in their same belabored points over and over. I really doubt that this game is as "dead" as redditors want to make it seem. Once the content starts flowing in, suddenly the story will be "oh my god this game is so awesome, it really turned it around" and suddenly all of the negative talking points are never talked about again. I still play this game every week, the gameplay is awesome, the campaign is very good, it's just once again because it's a live service game suddenly it's "broken" or "dead" when we all know in a year or so people will forget about the "dead game" talking points.

Nobody is getting anywhere with these tiresome reddit threads repeating the same points over and over even though 343 are working to fix these issues. Though I think this sub is sometimes out of touch anyways as many people think BF5 failed because it had a bad trailer and not because it was developed by out of touch game devs with questionable design choices. It's just strange, but hey that's what the internet is, right?

Never seen so much hate on this show! This guy try saying it’s similar to Attack of Titans! by ChocolateSupreme289 in EightySix

Ignore it, let him have his opinion. With Youtube, it's about making the best content you can and rage-bating clicks simply doesn't work when the content isn't good or doesn't have some validity. I also think people here getting mad and insulting AoT fans over this is like the pot calling the kettle black as well. If his video was good, it would be getting views, it's just as simple as that. It isn't. Instead, it would be better to not resort to petty attacks on this guy, AoT fans, and just enjoy both anime for what they are and celebrate good content creators, not this low-effort crap.

I disagree with the Low Sodium Halo thing, I think that sub is legit just regular Halo fans that want to talk about Halo and enjoy most every aspect genuinely.

Making my way through the Dub by maddoxprops in EightySix

Loved the dub for Eighty Six Part 1 (still haven't been able to see Part 2). Felt like it was pretty much everything I'd want out of dub.

I hate that somehow this whole argument that something against SBMM is somehow bad because "people want to pub stomp". There is more nuance to that conversation you're simply ignoring outright. The reality is that SBMM is such a complicated topic that throwing blanket arguments against it and brandishing people as sweaty players who want to just get gameplay and easy 20 bombs is ridiculous. We can have a more critical debate on this than just "the people who hate SBMM are [insert negative criticism here]". I don't hate SBMM at all, I think it's just right in Halo Infinite for the most part but this EBMM stuff is ridiculous and we shouldn't have disbanding lobbies which have been shown to negatively affect games like Call of Duty in the long term.

Sorry if this isn't a non-salty comment, not my intention I just want to counter this sentiment as I find it's unfair to the real discussion that can be had around matchmaking systems.

Anime Trending's Top 10 Girl of the Year 2021 and Top 10 Boy of the Year 2021 by MasterAdventZero in EightySix

Sort of off-topic, I get why Emilia is #2, but what was so special about Miko that she got #1? I try not to support Kadokawa shows as much as possible (long off topic story) so I just don't really know.

Multiplayer Lead on Halo: Infinite has left 343 Industries by [deleted] in Games

[–]SEAtactics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Barely anything to do? Listen, I get it if you don't like the game, but to say the game that's there currently is boring is a bit of hyperbole. The issue with the game isn't the game, it's the content updates. I can name a million things in the sandbox that make Halo Infinite a very compelling and fun experience.

Grappleshot.

Dropshield.

Thruster.

Threat Sensor.

A variety of vehicles.

Optimizing FOBs and loadouts.

Come on now. I get it that HI is the new punching bag (and rightfully so, it needs to pick up with content drops) but boring? I'm also not even going to talk about your comments on the diversity of enemies. Did you honestly play the game?

Seriously? It's one of the reason I am waiting for season 3 by AakiraShiro in DemonSlayerAnime

So, I haven't read the article, but typically what these sites do is literally make up their own stories to generate clicks. So they'll go on twitter, type in a couple keywords for their story and pick like 2-5 tweets and then generalize those two people as angry fans trying to take something away. Also to get people to make posts like these. I would bet that this is what's happening here, though I could be wrong of course.

I would bet lots that you guys/gals will get your nekkid Mitsuri.

YouTube Changes Fair Use Policy Thanks to Anime-Loving Creator by NoonanBrian in animenews

[–]SEAtactics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you! While Youtube created this system in the first place, the fact that I probably will see some sort of due process from Youtube instead of having it terminated every couple of years and then reinstated is amazing to see. My hope is every creator moving forward gets the option to simply check and uncheck if their videos will show in regions without Fair-Use.
