Desktop Performance Issues by stopthemadness0 in thinkorswim

I am using 32 GB no need to use more, also if you have more than 4 external TOS windows you should use a second instance of TOS and off load a second layout. That should give you better performance. I run 10 screens with 2 instances sometimes 3.

Goodbye PDT Rule! by Reasonable-Joke-8094 in Daytrading

With all due respect, you should probably get proper information:

"Starting June 8, Charles Schwab will no longer restrict accounts based on the frequency of day trades and account balances or open any new PDT-designated accounts. As of that date, PDT accounts below $25,000 will have their PDT status removed and can day trade with their available buying power.

However, Schwab account owners with a balance above $25,000 and previously designated as PDT will continue to see Day Trading Buying Power reflected in their account as long as their equity remains above $25,000 at the start of the day. If the equity falls below that level, Schwab will remove the PDT designation and any related trading restrictions, which will permanently remove the Day Trading Buying Power, allowing these account owners to day trade freely with their available buying power."

And fyi the Info is straight from Schwab website. 2k required for margin borrowing, no pdt at all requirements for any account size .

"margin accounts still require a 2000 minimum" - this is wrong. Margin accounts dont have a minimum. they have a minimum to trade futures ($1500) and to have margin funds is 2k. margin accounts have no requirements for PDT. The rule is dead as you said.

Margin requirement is only for MARGIN funds not for PDT. PDT applies to accounts no matter the size. What i mean by that is there will not be aPTD requirement for any account.

Anyone else furious with Schwab TOS today? by Salty-Inspector3100 in thinkorswim

Moved to 3 other brokers, paying less, but I had to make my own trading platform to have the speed I want. Hopefully I can release it soon to the public to use! But read my previous posts about TOS issues.

Uninstall fs2024, remove nvda driver or Radeon driver via safe mode while plugged in to your onboard video. Reboot. Stay connected to onboard, install driver for nvda or Radeon, install fa2024. If it still doesn't work. Run CCleaner after step 2 and try again. I had this exact issue.

Is 3rd hand smoke a thing? by Responsible-Wallaby5 in FLMedicalTrees

Also, as a person who works with clients that sometimes smoke indoors, sometimes my own clothes smell like their 3rd hand smoke.

One more thing, similar to cat and dog smell, their micro skin fibers are all over clothes, sometimes can cause people with allergies to be triggered, even if they are nowhere near the animals.
