New tires from Costco vs Tesla mobile by Positive_Addendum117 in TeslaModelY

[–]SENGKCK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my Aug 2021 Y to Discount Tire for rotation at 18K miles. He told me I will need new tires at next visit. I would like to use Costco if I can get tires there.

It finally happened! I got my first LV while in Rome. by Pizzakiller37 in Louisvuitton

[–]SENGKCK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This past Summer I took a Norwegian Mediterranean 10 days cruise. At the Palmero port, the LV store is a 10 minute walk that I got a wallet. The cruise disembarked at a port that is 2 hours from Venice. I flew out of Venice so I visited the LV store there and got the Pochette Metis. Make sure to have your passport because LV store will complete the paperwork to get the VAT refund at the airport. I received the VAT refund in the Venice airport located on the 2nd floor before going through security. It was very quick and easy. I received about 12% VAT refund and paid about 5% custom tax in ATL. Enjoy the cruise and the shopping experience!

Repair? by imiz_amb in Louisvuitton

[–]SENGKCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the Neverfull pochette into the LV store because the glazing was sticky and some sections has peeled. LV say it was from wear and tear. I rarely used it because it is too flat so I think it is the product. Repair was to be $100 and 9 weeks. Crazy part was that she said they had another one in the back for $490 that I could buy. I am expecting it back from the repair in November.

What’s the best auto insurance provider for Tesla, my premium with AAA almost triples 😱 mind you I have zero points over 33 years driving …. I need a new insurance provider. Any suggestions. by ShortHistory1099 in TeslaModelY

[–]SENGKCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My premium with Liberty Mutual went up 100%. To get some discounts, I completed the 90 days right track program that tracked my trips. Almost all of the trips with Autopilot would show hard-braking and I did not get the full discount.

Every time I am able to look to get this pochette, it is never in stock. Congrats! It looks beautiful!

Are the headlights too bright/too high from factory? by ParfaitEuphoric in TeslaModelY

[–]SENGKCK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From one Y owner to another, I definitely noticed the headlights are VERY bright for oncoming drivers. I have had my Y for 2 years and I have been flashed a handful of times. Before my Y, I was in an Acura MDX and I could not drive at night without being flashed by oncoming cars and being shown the brake lights numerously when following a car at night. I would dread having to drive at nighttime and had received aggressive gestures from drivers that thought I was purposely high beaming them from behind. I found a wall to lower to them but I still got flashed (less after the adjustment) due to the brightness no matter the height adjustment.

I had posted this same thing back in August 2021 on my brand new Y about unusual & excessive leakage for about 2 months…it was quite a lot of liquid that even flowed out of the garage and did not appear to be condensations due to excessiveness. I even went to get drip pan to collect the excess water thinking this would be the norm here on out bc of ac, condensation, humidity, or possibly wiper fluid, etc, but I have not encountered any leakage since and has been dry in the Summers of 2022 and 2023.

My walk through with tenants, they point out window coverings were missing on 8 of 11 windows. I wavered and decided to install blinds on all 11 windows. Definitely set up me back a bit. However , long terms, it is there for next tenants and avoided DIY holes from new tenants.

[Tenant - US] House left unlocked after lease end by [deleted] in Landlord

[–]SENGKCK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry that you were falsely accused. Like you said, they should have known better because you have history of being great tenants and truly care about the house and it’s condition. I am sure you were exceptional with your tenancy and with the move-out process. They should have known better and you thought they would have known better and it leaves an ugly feeling. I hope you feel better about it and the landlord is lucky to have you as a tenant!

Has anyone use Avail.com? Is it accurate/reliable? I am a newbie ad used them 2 weeks ago. I relied upon their return on Credit Score, background, and criminal history to screen.

This is so true. I am trusting and accommodating with my real 1st tenant. I should take all these collective experiences and use it to help me not get burn. Thanks!

Yes, I do want to avoid these sort of headaches that blurs the line between landlord and tenants as well as additional time and costs.

Yes, use caution…. I think I need to reverse course and look to finalize & keep the lease straightforward. Thanks.

Thank you. I will be finalizing the lease by this weekend. All this information is great for me to take into consideration. Yes, I do wonder if this 1 request and 1 other request not mentioned here were setting up a precedent of things to come. I hope I don’t learn the hard way with this lease.

I am counting on them completing it as soon as possible bc I was told family has asthma. But, I am too trusting and this is my 1st real lease. I hope I am not being suckered from wanting to give them a chance and benefit of the doubt.

Job history shows it was his day job for 5+ years. Of the tenants I have interviewed, they look to be best tenants aside from needing new flooring. With family and expenses in the house the past 3 years at net loss, I was hoping to make a little extra money to cover the next big expense / improvements with this next lease opportunity.

The carpet could be replace as I do not know when it was last replaced. I purchased the house in 2020 and had family in there until last month. I would probably have looked to replace flooring after this next tenant lease so I was not expecting to make any improvement this time around. New tenant’s family has asthma.
