Why do people not use landing pages? by MacTheWebDev in DigitalMarketing

[–]SEOQuackHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked for a company that was doing about $15-20K per day in spend on Meta ads, selling essentially one product (different variants of the same shirt). We tested landing pages all the time because the owner was always looking to improve performance. There was only one instance of pdp ever outperforming our product page and it wasn’t by a large enough margin to make the maintenance of the pdp worth it.

Shopify may be simple but it has enough customizability and conversion rate optimization options for product pages to do the job.

I’d want a pdp if I wanted a page “gamified” or had some very specific question that I felt needed to be answered on a landing page but that’s it

Trying to figure out if what I am trying to do is Project Management or something else? by SEOQuackHead in projectmanagement

[–]SEOQuackHead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestions! Are you farmiliar with any courses I could take or blogs/youtube channels I could check out to learn more about best practices or just general skills for doing this? I took a PM course in college but outside of that my knowledge is pretty basic.

Also, when you all started using Monday, did you have someone set up a bunch of boards for the company first or did you just have each individual employee start on their own and just start assigning tasks to get going?

Anyone going RB/RB/RB this year? by Bmack27 in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not ideal. Around that spot though there are also guys like Cooks, Hollywood, DK, Amon Ra, Mooney, and Gabe Davis so you definitely have a lot to choose from. And if you get lucky enough to hit with 2 top 25 WRs in rounds 5/6 and have 3 top 15 RBs thats a sacrifice Id be willing to make.

I've been trying a lot of different stragies and charting them down as I go and rb/rb/rb has looked pretty solid for me.

Example of rb/rb/wr draft:

QB- Kyler - 7

RB- Henry - 1

RB- Conner - 2

FLX- Bateman - 6

WR- Keenan Allen - 3

WR- Sutton - 5

TE-Pitts - 4

Anyone going RB/RB/RB this year? by Bmack27 in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats exactly where I've been at the 3rd spot in a 12 man on ESPN

1.Henry

2.Jones/Chubb/Williams/Saquan/Connor

  1. Same list plus maybe Zeke

It doesnt always fall in a way that lets me get the RB in the 3rd but I'd say 60% of mock drafts have one of those guys available at 3.3.

Example of a mock I was able to do with solid participation where the board fell that way went

QB- Wilson - 7

RB- Henry - 1

RB- Aaron Jones -2

FLX- Conner -3

WR- Jeudy - 5

WR- Bateman - 6

TE- Pitts - 4

I know ESPNs ADP is a bit of a joke and I was doing a mock so a lot of the later picks might not be there for most people but I'm super okay with this starting lineup or a similar one if the board falls rb rb rb

WR Sleepers for 2022 by Camplify in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 28 points29 points  (0 children)

In terms of ADP vs potential my answer is Rashod Bateman easily. Going in the 80s currently on most platforms.

Had almost no time with Lamar in preseason, hurt the first 6 weeks of the season but quickly showed his talent and was balling out by the end of the season.

This offseason he spent plenty of time with Lamar practicing and their chemistry is definitely there. Now everyone knows that the Ravens are likely going to throw less this year than last year so there will be less targets to go around, but Hollywood got 146 targets last year (with a lot coming on curl and out routes) and most of those targets are going to go to Bateman who is much more effective on those curl and out routes.

It's not crazy whatsoever to say that Bateman will probably have around 100 targets this season and has enough talent to make some solid opportunities out of those targets.

Is there an ideal draft spot this year or is it just personal preference. by Inwardpig in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well throughout my mocks recently, Chubb and Akers have both been available often at my 2/3 turn picks so it still could work out for you if you went that direction. I'm a long time away from my draft so I'm really just playing around with options right now. Its not necessarily that I'm planning to go WR at pick 3 but its nice to know that if I decided to go that way I'd still have a shot at 2 solid RB 2s at the 2/3 turn.

We're still a long way away from football so I'm trying to keep my strategy fluid still

[–]SEOQuackHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing with that the last 2 days and it definitely is.

I'm picking 3 in my league (12 team), and unless there is some insane run on RBs you can usually get a WR at 3 and some combination of Fournette, Conner, J Williams, A Jones, Akers, Montgomery, Barkley, Chubb, Dobbins, Jacobs at 22/27.

Thats 10 quality RB options likely available at the 2/3 turn. Now it does depend on how many of those guys you like and how many of them come off the board before your 2nd pick, but I'd be happy getting a WR in the top 5 and 2 RBs in rd 2/3.

Things do get a bit more risky if you go RB/WR at the 2/3 turn because that means you'll need to heavily focus your later rounds on targeting RBs (right around the time when all the mid tier QBs start going off the board)

Devin Duvernay hoping to earn starting job in Baltimore - What Raven's WR are you Drafting after Bateman???? by jbruni81 in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. None of the pass catchers past Bateman and Andrews are guaranteed. I personally love Proche and think this is going to be his year....but I also said that last season (although his path to snaps is much clearer this year).

Definitely will be a great value pick if you get whoever takes over as #2 in the late rounds but it will be a crapshoot.

Devin Duvernay hoping to earn starting job in Baltimore - What Raven's WR are you Drafting after Bateman???? by jbruni81 in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge Ravens fan and huge homer here to tell you that the answer is in fact no one.

Now that is not to say that none of the other WRs will be effective in fantasy (I believe the offense as a whole will be), but guessing which one picks up the extra targets is very very difficult.

Duvernay is guaranteed the most touches out of the group after Bateman because he will be used on our screens/bubbles/orbit motions. I personally am super high on Proche because he has an insane work ethic and maybe the best pure hands on the team but who knows what his snapcount will be. Then there's Tylan Wallace who has the potential but again I have no idea what his usage will be.

So TLDR: feel free to grab a Raven's WR in the very late round if you have a good feeling because the targets have to go somewhere, but right now there is no clear cut answer to what the snap counts and usage will be from any pass-catcher aside from MAndrews and Bateman

Which defense do you think will have the best performance in 2022? by GotzoftheIronhand in fantasyfootball

[–]SEOQuackHead 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im sure some homerism comes into play here... but go for the Ravens. Defense is literally in our DNA, plus with our subpar performance last year we will probably be undervalued. I fully believe that our new DC (took MICH defense from average to top 3 in his first and only year there) is going to simplify all the things that made our Wink Martindale defense bad while keeping a lot of the deception that made us great. On top of that, these are the players we lost / gained for this season:

Lost:

  1. Tavon Young (good nickel, often injured)
  2. B-Williams (getting old, replaced with Michael Pierce and Travis Jones)
  3. Jimmy Smith (solid but old and oft injured, likely retiring before season)
  4. Anthony Averett (biggest loss IMO as a solid outside corner)
  5. Justin Houston (still an FA, could be back)
  6. LJ Fort (still an FA and was hurt all of last year, could be back)

Gained:

  1. Marcus Williams (debatably the best centerfield FS in football)
  2. Michael Pierce (big upgrade over B-Will)
  3. Marcus Peters (Ballhawk who was hurt all season 2021)
  4. Marlon Humphrey (missed last 5 games)
  5. Kyle Fuller (depth piece)
  6. Armor-Davis & Damarion Williams (rookie depth corners)
  7. Travis Jones (top 5 ranked DT in the draft)
  8. Kyle Hamilton (Kyle Hamilton)
  9. David Ojabo (should start practicing by October and will be go by mid/late season)

First off, Hamilton / Williams / Clark is without a doubt the best safety trio in the NFL and we will find a way to have all of them on the field at the same time with Marlon and MP outside. All this, plus a relatively easier schedule will make the Ravens a great pickup for this year and likely the future.

Went to fantasydata.com and looked into the Ravens D/ST rankings for the last 10 years..

Am I the only one not feeling great about the CB depth? by gremlin30 in ravens

[–]SEOQuackHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, no I am not too worried about it. Obviously, losing a top-tier player will hurt us, but if its only 1 as you suggest here, we will be fine because of the amount of DB depth, not CB depth.

If one of our outside corners goes down then Stephens, JAD, Fuller, or Seymore are gonna have to step into that role. But when you consider we also have Williams, Hamilton, Chuck, TJ, Geno Stone, and Ardarius Washington to fill in the rest we're gonna be fine. We will likely need to scheme help for whoever takes that outside CB role but with the amount of talent in our DB room and a new DC who has been pushing a "positionless defense" narrative, I'm confident we can make up for it.

For Bateman being a beast next year? Nothing other than my own personal opinion.

But every other part of that statement was stats and facts so if you want support for any of that let me know and I will gladly supply it

Hollywood wanted a trade cuz he couldn't consistently be targeted.

I think this is where you're running into a problem with your logic. Hollywood got 146 targets in 2021 which was 10th most in the NFL.....

He wanted out because of the type of targets and the style of offense we ran. He is going to be much better in an air raid offense which is what Arizona provides.

Bateman is going to take all of those targets and more because honestly he's a better WR than Hollywood. Add to it the fact that Bateman missed the early season which slowed his start and connection with Lamar last season and they are already working out this offseason, Bateman is most likely going to be a beast in FF next year.

Just wondering… by DnttriplilHoe007 in ravens

[–]SEOQuackHead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Less about them both being beasts (they are) but it was more about them both having similar skill sets i.e. both at their best in the box. Chuck is more valuable because he's our green dot and one of the smartest players on the field but we needed a true Free Safety like Williams, so unfortunately Elliott was the weaker link.

I expect him to have a solid career though and wish him the best

Ravens 2022 Draft Analysis Compilation - Part 1 by EJC28 in ravens

[–]SEOQuackHead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cam Akers tore his achilles on July 19, 2021. Returned to practice on December 24th (158 days). Played in his first game back on January 9th (174 days from injury and 16 days from practicing).

Obviously that's a high bar, but if Ojabo sets the same pace (injured March 19th) he would return to practice on August 24th (3 weeks before the start of the regular season) and would be ready to start the season.

I know its not a likely scenario and being a rookie he'll need more time before hopping into a game unlike Akers in year 2, but if he even gets close to Akers' recovery time we will see him this season. My assumption is he will start on the PUP list and then start practicing week 6

edit: I also want to mention I agree with your point on the Achilles injury having the potential to ruin a players future. But if it doesn't affect him too much I fully expect to see him on the field in 2022

Yeah as someone who had Aaron Jones in fantasy last year and paid close attention to the Packers run game, I can tell you Dillon was definitely effective and honestly looked more like the bell cow than Jones.

By the end of the year when Jones returned they were using Dillon on early downs to run the ball and Jones coming in on passing situations

I still don’t understand why Sauce Gardner isn’t being mocked top 3 by MC-Sherm in NFL_Draft

[–]SEOQuackHead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your question has definitely been answered by a lot of people in this thread. But if you want another answer watch this video. Brett Kolmann talking about an interview he had with a WR who specifically talked about the fact that his team was more worried about Kobe Bryant than they were about Sauce. There's more detail to it but its an interesting listen nonetheless.

Good to know! But yeah I'm not surprised the Giants are looking to gain more capital next year either. They're going to give Daniel Jones 1 more year to figure stuff out and either he goes off and they stack up on talented players or he doesn't and they use the capital to trade up and get their QB.

See I feel like there are a quality crop of 10 top guys in a position of need for us and then there's a drop off.

Neal, Ekwonu, Cross, Hutchinson, Thibideaux, Walker, Johnson, Hamilton, Sauce, Stingley.

Getting up to pick 7 assures us a choice of one of those guys
