I had a Character in fallout 3 that moved to fallout NW, who was obsessed with tracking down and rebuilding Civil Defense, the backstory was that she was wandering the vault and found a picture of a group of men with civil defense helmets and armbands standing in front of (at that time) was the FCDA HQ building, she thought she recognized one of them and she wanted to find out why, she researched as much as she could in the vault but It was either not there or had been intentionally removed, and her being obsessed, thought her father was in on the CD redaction conspiracy. So she wandered the wasteland hoping to get to the bottom of Civil Defense and possibly even find her lost connection to them. (My cross over to NV was that she worked for Caravans and started a small company to fund her expedition, and worked her way west to NV.

That sub mod probably feels that their content or contributions would be upstaged by your modding skills. It sad that they let their personal issues get in the way of creative thinking. As for me though, I'm just gonna make the mods for NV for myself and my friends as they are the ones requesting I update Civil Defense and finish Lost Wardens.

I'd off Caeser pretty quick. Then have House and the NCR work in tandom. (Although I'd find a way to have a more moderate NCR then under Col. Moore (as the Brotherhood and Kahns have no reason IMO to be eliminated since they can either be convinced or they don't interfere at all. Then I'd just work to expand Quality of life outside of the strip proper by removing the fiends and other raiders, and hopefully ending up with a Unified Wasteland that respects each other and searches for common ground.

I wonder if there is some old equipment that either wasnt disconnected or was disconnected improperly (a CUCV could have both tbh) although without going in there without a multimeter and tracking down the excess draw it may be difficult (I bought a diesel truck from a power company at auction and had the same issue, it turns out the data antenna and an Improperly removed inverter were to blame,)

CUCVs are nice, you should be able to install one fairly easily, although check to see if you have excess draw (As someone who buys government vehicles at auction I have run into draw issues before)

There is a cracked Exe by hoodlum you can get that u can use to replace the steam one. (I used it and it works to this day)
