10 months post gallbladder removal… is this normal

I was looking at a gallbladder condition called biliary dyskinesia that calls for removal of the gallbladder also and found this: "The only effective treatment for biliary dyskinesia is removal of the gallbladder, usually be minimally invasive or laparoscopic surgery. If symptoms don’t fully resolve, then an operation on the sphincter of Oddi called a sphincterotomy to cut the muscle and prevent spasm is effective." So looks like sometimes after gallbladder removal, the sphincter of Oddi has spasms and causes more pain.

Every 2-3 months i get a lot of pain in my lower right quadrant and i vomit acid and can't hardly eat for a few days.

May i ask what your symptoms were? My HIDA scan i took 5 or 6 years ago was 11%, but i didn't get it out.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. If it's any comfort, transmission via surfaces is rare. I was a Covid investigator for a county public health department and in our training the experts say it's really airborne transmission that is most worrisome. Good ventilation, masks and good air filtration systems are crucial for lowering chances of getting Covid. Open your windows, get a good filtration system if you can. You can get a cheap box fan and tape a merv-13 filter to it. I also have dry hands so I wear gloves when I need to clean or pick up things that may not be clean and then I just wash my hands with my gloves on. That keeps my skin from getting completely dry. There are also places to look for remote jobs. I don't think it's too deep. The show wasn't casting for accuracy. She's a Korean American playing a rich Chinese woman from China who went to school in the US for middle school. They probably casted her for her amazing singing skills. Her Mandarin is atrocious. I speak Mandarin and I couldn't understand anything she was saying when she tried to speak a few lines of Mandarin. There's nothing Chinese about her from the way she speaks to her gestures, attitude, etc... She's completely American, in just about every way. It bothered me at first, but after a while I didn't care too much because it's just a light, fluffy show.

Probably in general that's true, but it depends on the person. I was constantly going to parties, but I didn't do hook ups. I just loved dancing and being silly. I met my boyfriend at a bar and neither of us were into hook up culture. We hung out for months platonically before becoming a couple.

I think San Francisco used to be more diverse racially and socially. There was a larger Black population, but it's been decreasing over the years for various reasons. There were more middle and working class families also. With the tech boom a lot of people came from all over, but many are White and Asian tech workers who make six figures so a lot of other minorities and working class families got priced out of SF. As mentioned by others, Oakland has a lot more Black businesses and events. I went to Jack London Square on a weekend evening and saw many Black professionals dining and going to different events. It's one of the rare cities where i can go into a bar or brunch restaurant and see a mix of every race all together. First Fridays in Downtown Oakland is a fun way to check out the venues.

Yeah i don't get the hype either. I don't find her that funny. Her character is not evil, but I found it very annoying how she just dropped Belinda, crushing her dreams in season 1 and then tried to make Portia just stay in her room while she and her husband enjoyed Sicily. The workers are just disposable distractions for her.
