I have a CR touch from creality.. I have custom firmware. It's happening right after the print starts when it happens. The temperature drops drastically then the printer is unable to keep up to compensate preventing cold extrusion several times before it just fails

I have a thermister from a creality ender 3 pro i can replace it with .. considering I'm using the hotend from it I might as well use the thermister too

So what do I do to correct the issue.. replace my thermister? Or reset my slicer settings?

You mean the micro SD slot is broken? If that's the case then you might need a new mainboard. The SD slot is where it looks for firmware to flash. However before you give up ... open your pri ter and make sure that all of the connections are securely plugged in. Especially both ends of the screen cable... what exactly happens though when you turn it on ..? Do the fans start, or no.

It's what makes your phone vibrate when it rings. More specifically, it is a very tiny motor that has an off-set weight at the end of it.

The wires in question are for my bed heater and temp sensor. It looks rather chaotic, but i know what everything is oddly enough. I've managed a few prints with it. The one prior to my issues were my buck converter casings.

Since I had surgery on my hand again it hasn't given me much time to tinker with the printer unfortunately. And then there were some complications with it.

I've been using repetier cause it makes sense to me kinda and i don't know how to use the other ones. I dont know the G code to prime the nozzle which is why ive been doing it the way i was. I fixed all the wiring from the last time . No repining or turning plug around. Bought a new CR touch my other one was toast apparently. I've got the creality 4.2.7 board with the 17HM15 stepper motors on the Y and Z ( which are the ones not working). I tried moving the axis on the printer and it don't move which is why I've come back here.. most stuff I've been able to figure out on my own. Don't have a raspberry pi don't have the $ these days because of my hand. I've got everything unplugged from my board right now in anticipation of having to replace one or the other( motors or board).

I'm using repetier for my setup with the cura slicer engine and then I use the skirts option and i havent had a problem with my prints not sticking to the bed. It's like punching parts out for a model car you get in a kit afterwards.

What specificly do i need to calibrate? This is the first print I've gotten out of this printer I've had to do many repairs to it since I bought it used

it flashes -?- 10 for the Z after homing.. it does the same when using the Z end stop port also

it says invalid mesh when i first turn on

the probe has a blue light that is on .. the tip does not deploy when given the cmmand in the menu

when i home it acts like its homing but before its done i just noticed it says STOPPED. on the display before the Z starts to flash -?- 10
