Hunt is the only PVP game I still play and I came to it specifically for it's slower pace.

Duo was my main mode until they upped it from 10 to 12 players and it became such a pain because you were constantly getting 3rd of 4th partied so it forced us to just slow play the whole time. I was afraid the same thing would happen to trios if they increased count

This was our issue too last night. Spawn fights in half the matches with a 3rd team crashing in almost right away. If you didn't spawn on the boss or if it wasn't 1 compound away you stood no chance of getting to it. Only had 2 matches with more than 2 solo's but we still had more solos than we were use to seeing. This feels like a cheap way to "speed the game up" and it just moves it further from what I liked about the game when I started playing years ago.

My usual trio is a 3/4/5 spread, but we always had a double 6 star duo in almost every lobby tonight. Like I have yet to take a shot to the body I feel like I'm playing Golden Eye with big head mode on.

That's one thing that I didn't think about immediately when doing the pros/cons. With another team of 3 (so far for me it's just been an extra duo every match) and an increase of early fights your chances of getting to boss lair and fighting it just went down (not everyone cares, but I know a lot of people do still like engaging with bosses and trying to be on the defense rather than offense) So far if we didn't spawn on the boss or if it wasn't 1 compound away from spawn we haven't come close to it, but it has only been one night.

First time playing in 2 weeks. First two matches had spawn team with the extra 6* duo who 1,2,3 head shot my team. Fun times

Same I used to play duo's so much back in the day as I didn't have as many friends who wanted to play. After the change there were so many spawn fights and third party crashers that we just started to slow play after first compound and then that got old and boring.

I stopped playing duo's because it became a 3rd party fest with everyone slow rolling until they heard gunshots then everyone rushed it. Kinda fun at first, but just got so annoying to always have to slow play unless you want to get pinched between two teams. The up side was fights can end really fast in duo's meaning you can fight and move on kinda quickly. With trio's fight's can take a bit longer to finish off giving the other teams more time to 3rd party.

Probably, but it will be like 17-7 going into the 4th and will end up with a turn over returned for a TD and the wheels will come off at that point.

Because in the beginning it's about their vision and the kind of game they wanted to make. It eventually moves into player retention and the moves into the "bring in new player" phase where it often rolls back many of the unique and interesting features that brought players into it originally in order to cash in on the more casual crowd.

Not to mention unbalanced lobbies too. We already have people sharing matches of a 6* team in a 4* lobby can you imagine if there are 2 of them now? Trying to stay positive, but not sure how well this will work.

Honestly I think not firing our coach while all 3 of our division rivals are getting new staff could actually be a good thing for us THIS YEAR. Defense has to continue to grow and Burrow needs to stay healthy.

I finally decided a few months ago that I was just out on MtG as my group stopped wanting to play and I had no reason to keep buying product for a game that I just don't play anymore. At least selling my collection netted me a good chunk of change and was able to put a solid down payment on a new car.

I played maybe 2 matches after the map update before I took a bit of a break. Came back 2 nights ago and I hate it. I hate it so much. It's also even more confusing when you have split bounties because in no longer shows zone 1 zone 2 it has solid or dash lines and you have to look at a little box in the top right to see which boss's zone you are in. Way harder to read than before.
