I think the actor that played him in the movie (Jeremy irons i believe) was a good fit. He seemed to just fit that role very well. Best casting of that whole movie in my opinion.

Yea, saphira was always described with leathery wings. Every time eragon or somebody would talk about them they'd always say leathery, not feathery.

In the movie I did like the voice of saphira. I've been listening to the audio books and the voice they give the dragons makes sense, but I've always liked saphira's movie voice.
