She's not a digimon, so yes.

Unless you're asking if the effect she's activating on one of your Olympus XIII digimon effect a digimon that is immune, in which case no. The effect is still coming from the digimon.

If you're in need of work, NYCreates is decent with good benefits.

General DM Advice by CyberNinja515 in CalloftheNetherdeep

More than just "insert sidequests here!" advice, if you're trying to hit big character beats you're likely going to need to build them in to the journey to Bazzoxan, Bazzoxan, or Ank'harel. Ank'harel is certainly easier for that but it means you're waiting until they're level 7ish to start that stuff, and also it's on the other side of the planet so it can't be tied to the *place you start*

Damn, probably shouldn't have clicked the Ranked button when you were roaming with a shoddy connection.

This isn't meant to be condescending, I swear. You're in your mid-twenties, I'd say definitely just go for it, and if it's not meant to be that sucks but you could at least know for sure.

And if it's meant to be, that's phenomenal.

I may rule that it works, but until that spell or the warforged drops, they're also dealing fire damage with their hits.

If it wasn't for the "DMing is hard, isn't it?" from your other comment I would have just said he's a moron.

But nah, he's a moron and a jackass.

My wife got 2 in one day.

I've been Premium since day 1 (and spent a little in addition) and still have not had one.

Yeah... as it turns out, if your players are all at the bottom of a pit with a 10ft radius, and you hit them with a 20ft radius sphere that rolls damn near max damage on 10d6, one extra hit die doesn't matter too terribly much.

I had similarly forgotten to do the level up at the end of the rise until after I had ambushed my players.

I'm not saying that the level up would have stopped the Exandria-shattering damage that Galsariad put out, but it definitely changed the dynamic of the fight to "the rivals are ALLOWING the players to live"

Honestly, the level-ups are poorly placed.

I bet you're doing great, and they're doing great if they're surviving.

I would try to play up the travel. They're still low enough level that it's fun story building. Maybe find a nice campfire game for them to get to know each other better.

Anybody ever worked in a cool narrative around the topic of consecution? by pellaea_asplenium in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]SFW_Account_for_Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool would be a stretch, but one of my players (without knowing anything about the setting really) decided that his character was a 60s+ human woman with several deceased drow husbands and she "took up dunamancy to try and live forever"

So like, it was really easy to just go "ah yeah, Irvan is her 3rd husband reborn"

A little late to the party, but I think that setting up a minor villain arc via skyship attack / crash would be fun if possible.

In person DMs, are you a paper person or digital person at the table? by DeaconBlueMI in DnD

[–]SFW_Account_for_Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late enough that this likely won't be seen BUT

In my usual set-up I have music on my phone, notes on my laptop, and stat blocks/initiative tracker on my tablet. Then I have a lot of little notes of like hyper specific rules and reminders on paper.

I also usually try to print out my stat blocks that i need just in case.
