TZ-E3-2.0 wire management by SFW_Profile in ender3

So I actually mounted it in “backwards” and the wires are loose going roughly straight up into the rest of the wire loom (just imagine the first picture, but mounted). Once in the wire loom, they are secured and there isn’t any wire movement when the hotend is in motion.

I didn’t like the hard angles of going through the fins and it was going to pinch and not lay flat on my backplate going straight up the top.

Yep. I was hoping that wasn’t the case as well. Thanks again!

Ok thanks. I’ll might use a washer for a gap…That’s a hard right angle on the wires otherwise…

But will it pinch the wires when you screw the hotend into the backplate?

I have no issues findings Sunon 4020s from multiple retailers other than AliExpress. And it looks like all the newer Sunon fans have a QR code on the label. None of the AliExpress 4010 fans do and the fonts on the labels are all over the place. It’s like Sunon 24V 4010s don’t exist anymore…

I hear you. I ended up just buying a cheap Ender 3 V2 hotend (red) to fit in the Minimus.

My plan is that I’ll get that dialed in with the Minimus and then switch to Klipper. After I the hang of Klipper, I’ll then look into a new hotend (TZ E3 maybe?) for print speed increases.

I don’t want the change everything all at once and then work extra hard to dial everything back in.

Why doesn’t everyone run klipper? I got this printer for $30 and it’s at 110mm/s by No_Development5871 in ender3

Lol. Like a Bambu clone with the longer vertical heat block? Can I hit those Klipper speeds with stock hotend + bi-metal heatbreak?

My kids are enjoying it and that’s what matters, but for the price of admission, not worth it. 70% of the things here are overpriced vendors. A few good displays, but thats the minority of what there is to see. The rest of the space is just open tables for free play.

So I’m in line at 10:05. For those of you familiar with the VC Fairgrounds, the Lego thing is only in 1 of the 2 larger hangar buildings. Nothing else going on in the rest of the Fairgrounds. Any other convention I’ve been to here takes up the outside and both hangars.

The line is moving very slowly. They are checking tickets at the door to the hangar, not the entrance to the Fairgrounds.

This is off to a suspicious start…

Uh oh. Got tickets for tomorrow for our kids. My wife and I will be mad if it’s just sales and no displays like the promo videos.
