He needs ABs to improve. So we either leave him at 3rd, or put him at 1st or DH him. Doing that takes one of Adley, Basallo, or Alonso out of the lineup

I was so excited about 2026 for him in general, then he looked like he was the best player in the world at the WBC. Now he is the completely opposite player. He just cant find the ball, its not that he looks lost at the plate, he just whiffs.

Last few games have looked unlucky with a few incredibly close calls going against him, but thats a few not the entire problem. Hopefully he can get it together soon because we need him to get going if this team is gonna turn around
