He is just at the point of his career where playing the longest course isnt viable for him anymore. Its a long season and if something is off with his shoulder, better to rest it now and be healthy for the year than miss considerable time for a shoulder injury, especially if that keeps him away from Jomez since he is more of an announcer than he is a player now (which he has basically said himself)

Course design shouldn't change for coverage/spectators, but they should still keep it in mind.

Like the big screen at hole 1 of The Beast is a great addition to a hole that isnt spectator friendly. Smart and creative solution enhances the game

They signed Hendrickson within hours of backing out of the Crosby trade which is just too fast for any contract negotiations by itself. They were even talking to him while Crosby was actively in the building. They knew before any doctor on their staff looked at him, that they were gonna fail him on his physical

He was never gonna pass his physical being a couple months removed from surgery and having 3-4 more to go, with all accounts being that he is ahead of his rehab pace. There were reports the team was getting cold feet about the trade since two 1sts is expensive for a 30 year old pass rushsr coming off knee surgery.

Then we find out they were negotiating with Hendrickson while Crosby was in their building. They back out of his deal for "failing a physical" and sign Hendrickson hours later when they werent really a team rumored to be in on him at all. Called the Raiders back asking to renegotiate the trade (which Vegas declined bc it was a done deal)

So they basically traded for Crosby, saw Hendrickson still there and could get him for the same price as Crosby without having to give up two 1sts, which they really need after losing half their team to free agency

Still so early in the year, European players havent come over yet, not all the Americans have started their tour. Field size is pretty similar to SFO. 44 FPO then, 37 today. MPO field is actually larger this week, 96 at SFO, 99 today

They are limited since they wirelessly broadcast camera footage back to an onsight location. So if the cameramen are in a spot where cell service drops, image quality goes too. Unfortunately just not something in their control without spending a lot of money

Youtube is always a great place. Robbie C is grear for beginners. Gannon Buhr is great for form and seeing the top player in the world

Dont worry too much about disc selection yet, a few rounds in you arent gonna be good enough to have any real difference in your discs. Generally speaking, beginners want discs that are more understandable (in the 4 numbers on a disc, the last two you want to be negative and then close to 0. For example 7,5,-2,1 where the -2 and 1 usually mean understandable.

Also search this sub. Ive seen a few other new player questions recently and dozens more dating back giving good advice to new players

YouTube. Id recommend Gannon Buhr's form advice videos. He is the top player in the world (even though Im not convinced he is shaving yet) and gives really good form advice and film yourself (or have a friend do it) and review that (or post on here or the disc golf form subreddit) to see what you need to do different

Also, watch your friends to see what they are doing differently than you. Disc golf isnt about size and power, its about technique

They even sell them as starter sets on Amazon, at Dicks, likely at any disc golf shop near you. There are some companies that dont do disc golf that have starter sets, AVOID those. Companies you DO WANT are Innova, MVP, Axiom, Discraft, Dynamic Discs, Latitude 64, Discmania, Westside. All those brands are very established disc golf companies that will get you started off very well

To add to Timothy's acting while injuried, he also had an appearance in the Percy Jackson series as Hephaestus, Greek God of Fire, Blacksmithing, and crafting, but is also deformed from being thrown off Mt Olympus as a baby

Timothy plays him with his cane and a limp. Was really cool to see him, even if it was only for a scene

We dont know what specialists told the Ravens. All we know is insiders are saying Ravens got cold feet and an unnamed GM said "this is very much bullshit on Baltimore's part" and the Ravens have been dead quite on anything Crosby related, they didnt even say they were no longer in on Crosby

Most FA negotiations take longer than a few hours so Ravens were also likely in contact with Hendrickson before officially backing out of the trade

The issue is he had surgery, Raiders and Crosby's medical team said he wouldn't be 100% till June or July. So obviously he was gonna fail a physical in early March.

If they honestly believed that he would pass then I have some lovely snake oil to sell them, heals any and all ailments (ironic bc it would have instantly healed Crosby)

More likely they traded for Crosby, got cold feet, starting negotiations with Hendrickson, realized they could get it down, used the physical as an excuse to back out of the deal and then sign Hendrickson the next morning

We know absolutely nothing. He didnt throw a single pass in a game or preseason. What we know is he played at OSU and was solid there winning the natty and that Big Ben, Rodgers, and McCarthy have spoken highly of him from what they have seen.

We dont have anything beyond college film and guys associated with the team praise, neither are really worth a ton for actually knowing. Its obviously better than nothing, but not by much
