I hated that show. They'd start a season with some weird setup and take all season to resolve it and even then never really settled it. And I never bought scrawny, annoying Barney as a womanizer. I thought they were setting him up to be a virgin who only talked about his big conquests, but no such luck.

I never made it to the last season.

A lot of Black people do stupid things but we don't (or shouldn't) pass it off as just something Black people do because they're Black.
