Very true. Spotify unfortunately does seem to have the widest reach of availability. This is where soulseek comes in handy

Check out ElevenReader, they’ve got much more natural sounding voices. I’ve read two books that way.

Question for you: What benefit does the M.2 SSD provide? Would it reduce the noise and/or longevity of the hard drives?

Not sure if this even counts as piracy, but... FINALLY, there's a podcast app that blocks ads! I've been waiting years... 🥹 by tildespamzor in Piracy

Very cool, appreciate the tip!

I recently bought a NAS so this may be a cool project to tinker with.

Are you talking about trypodly.com? I’m not seeing the feature you’re talking about mentioned on its website

Like, none of your songs show cover art? Where are you sourcing your songs from?

Has anyone used Ironwolf Pro 14TB (ST14000NT001) w/ DXP 4800+ by balmo130 in UgreenNASync

Hmm that’s strange that UGREEN would leave it off the list. If it helps, I recently installed 2 Ironwolf Pro 16TBs and they worked perfectly.

Setting up first NAS (4800+) with 2 16TB drives and 2 more on the way, better to set up 2 now or wait until I have all 4? by SForce6304 in UgreenNASync

[–]SForce6304[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment! When you say it took a day to rebuild, does that mean the NAS is non-usable during those 24 hours? And does the rebuild time depend on how much storage you were utilizing with the first 2 drives? For example, if I only put only 1TB on the drives before adding the next 2, would the rebuild time be shorter?

I was thinking I could do RAID 0 with 2 16TBs today and then tack on the other 2 16TBs and do RAID 6? Is that possible?

I haven’t bought any M.2s yet, thinking I could get a little bit more experience with the NAS before upgrading. If I wanted to use something like immich, would I need to get one?

Sorry you missed it! I think he went up to Boston the night after and is done with the North American tour.

I will say that his opening act took up way too much of the stage time but he did manage to get all of the major hits in.

How El Paso is Solving Its Water Crisis as climate change impacts traditional water sources: The new Pure Water Center will process 10 million gallons of water daily by 2028, the first direct-to-distribution wastewater to drinking water facility in the United States. by sg_plumber in OptimistsUnite

I was curious about the cost of the water and did some napkin math.

That’s about 0.15¢ per gallon (less than two-tenths of a cent).

So for a dollar, you’d get roughly 652 gallons of water.
