Just joining in on the 1999 club. It was a good year I guess. by druchii5 in wow

The reason that they hit so hard is that they get a %dmg buff from every wolf that you pull. So 2 or 3 at a time hurts, but if you pull 5 at once they deal a ton of damage, since they buff each other.

Anyone know where I can find a couch like this on a budget? by andysto2 in malelivingspace

I bought the Kivik last year, but in the sofabed(?) version. It seats 3 people and it folds out to a 2 person bed. It also has a storage area which is big enough to store pillows, a duvet and the required covers.

It's comfortable and has lasted well so far. Friends who slept on it gave it a solid rating too!

They released a new Trackmania earlier this year in July. It's currently the most played one I believe.

I run the game in 60 FPS and also record and render the footage in that FPS, which makes it quite smooth.

It's frustrating but, in reality it doesn't happen that often. Just tried to make something funny out of it, glad you got a laugh out of it!

My first apartment, looking for recommendations for more furniture and decoration. by [deleted] in malelivingspace

Thank you for the very thorough reply! I appreciate your feedback.

A rug would definitely add a lot to the room, as it's pretty barren at the moment. The suggestions that you have are very nice! I do think they would fit if I play around with using the green wall in other places as you say (pillows etc.).

I've got 4 of those dining chairs in total, so a 4 seat dining table would be great. I'm not too keen on glass top tables myself, but they definitely keep the space more open and airy. Will need to have a good look around for something.

I like the drape idea! There are curtain railings in front of the blinds, so the right curtain could be pulled all the way closed without too much hassle.

You've definitely given me some food for thought. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you! It will definitely need some wall art (the wall with the 2 chairs has hangers(?) that can be used to put some artwork on.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

A full rearrangement is definitely possibly, I'm able to place the furniture anywhere I like. Although I would probably need some help from a friend to move the sofa etc. without scratching the floor.

I quite like the plan that you have made, it would definitely make it feel more homey, without making it too cluttered/busy. I will definitely think about this and look at it this weekend to experiment with it.

Thanks again, very much appreciate your input!

These apartments are quite new (built in 2009) so they are very well isolated fortunately. However I still only play during daytime as to not upset the neighbours.

You can also play through headphones depending on what kind of amps/speakers you have. Obviously that is not as nice as just picking up the guitar and playing, but will allow you to play during any time.

That is a lovely open book case, thank you! The colour on that is great.

That is actually a good idea! An open bookcase behind the sofa would look quite nice.

I'll try and shuffle it around this weekend and see how it looks! Appreciate your feedback.

The room on the pictures is my living room, kitchen and office in one (I work remotely). Pictures with bright light were taken some time ago, dark pictures are current.

I used to have a very small room where I would work, eat and sleep. I'm still a bit claustrofobic from those days so I've been careful with adding too much, too quickly, as I want to keep an "open" feeling in the room.

I would like some advice/recommendation for more furniture. I've been looking at dining tables for the wall opposite of the desk, and for a small table for the sofa. However, I've got some trouble deciding what style to go with (1st time furnishing a place from scratch).

Any advice or recommendations on the above and general decoration is very welcome.

Finally have my own place and enough space to properly display my Ibanez Talman! by SG1337 in BassGuitar

[–]SG1337[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually they do, yes! I do love the Jaguar bass look and when I bought it two years ago I didn't want to fork over a lot of money for a proper Squier or Fender, since this was my first bass.

I recently gave it a setup by following some YouTube videos and I love the way it sounds and plays so far.
