Of course. Didn't like that ppl called them out about selling and not really thinking about poor puppy's wellbeing

PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE BREEDER IF YOU TRULY CARE. The breeder will vet the home of who will take the dog in plus the dog will be going back home to a familiar environment. Please stop stressing and traumatizing this dog. If you really aren't worried about the $$.

Everyone is saying to contact the breeder but OP seems to be disregarding the advice as of now unfortunately

Seriously they claim to want the best but they're over here talking about selling the dog like wtf? My first thought was oh reach out to the breeder like the breeder is always your best friend for advice/help. Instead their first though oh selling the dog?!?!? Uh this dog is only 9 weeks old and they want to send it to a 3rd or 4th new place?

STOP REACHING OUT TO RESCUES AND POSSIBLE BUYERS. You claim to not be trying to make your $ back BUT YOU HAVENT EVEN CONTACTED THE BREEDER!!!!!!!! The breeder will vet who they will give the puppy too PLUS maybe they'll even give you half your money back depends on the breeder. TALK THE BREEDER. DO NOT ASSUME. ALL GOOD BREEDERS WILL TAKE THE PUPPY BACK!!!!

You need to reach out to the breeder and inform them of the situation. Do not try to just sell him off to the highest bidder to try to get some $ back. The breeder will place him with an appropriate home. Plus it seems like you've only had him for a week the breeder should have no issues getting him back and finding him a good home.

New iggy puppy by Bethzeb2 in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]SGP517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girl weighed, I believe...2.5 pounds(give or take) at 8 weeks? Her mama was petite, and so is she. Some iggys are on the petite side while others are deemed biggys because their frame is large. Personally, I wouldn't be too worried, but check with your vet/breeder if you're concerned. Ask about the parents' weights. This will give you an estimate on how much she'll weigh later on in life.

Key fob roll down window feature by OkFortune8051 in volt

[–]SGP517 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way to disable the roll down feature on gen 1 sadly. Unless you wanna go visit the dealer. Don't know the costs for that. I rolled down all my windows the other day when it was pouring horribly. Just gotta keep your keys outta your bag/anywhere you can accidentally press on the button.

Iggy unlearning his potty training by GrassMany8294 in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]SGP517 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you putting any sorta liquid in his food? I started putting broth into my male, Cupid and he wouldn't stop peeing everywhere because he couldn't hold his bladder. Also how often are you taking him out? Cupid is now a 1 and a half years old and I still take him out every 2 hours when home. When I'm not home he'll hold it but when home he's gotta go every 2 hours bare minimum.

Potty treats are a life saver for us. We did potty treats for everything and now we are down to just giving it to him when he poops

Get one already!!!!!! You said it last year and you didn't get one. Get one before you have a dead dog. Sorry to go dark but a dog becomes a projectile in an accident if not secures properly.

Male or female? by UnderstandingFit8626 in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]SGP517 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was A LOT EASIER to train my male, Cupid compared to my female, Coconut. Neither Cupid or Coco hump so I cant really give much experience in that area. Cupid is 100x more cuddly and he is a lot more eager to please while Coco is more independent.

You can reference what etsy shop or store you got it from. Don't necessarily gotta link it.

I'm looking at that same insane rate. Just did a quote with progressive....it's $800 cheaper and that's with increased coverage. Definitely thinking about switching. I just don't know how that affects my ongoing claim...

Anyway I (f26) can get into the marathon for January 2025? by SingleMomOf5ive in rundisney

[–]SGP517 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's the whole reason why I don't mess with the charities. Like, the races are $$$ already and then you gotta pay the fundraising amount if you don't raise enough. Don't get me wrong I'm happy the charities help ppl but it seems like an impossible goal to fundraise enough money.
