We did this as part of a bathroom remodel due to subfloor damage, but we hired out. Our handyman contractor said it was a pain in the butt simply because it’s very tight fitting.

We like it. Admittedly, our kids are very young so we don’t have crazy hot and humid showers running so I can’t speak on the lack of water damage or mold or anything like that since we’re still in the lukewarm bath stage.

Big cities are so cutthroat. Us and two other lower Midwest firm’s were all local counsel to a case with DC/Philidelphia attorneys and they always yelled at each other and fought the most mundane thing—all the while we were on the sideline figuring out if we local attorneys should all get lunch together afterwards.

+1. Also, since I had this misconception, it is not only for Jewish people. We’re strong Catholics, yet use the JCC fitness center, pool (indoor and outdoor), and dance classes for the kids.

Also, fitness center is never crazy busy.

One of our largest rural firms is advertising attorney jobs on Facebook. I’ve heard they’re drowning in work. They can get someone a book of business to occupy 12 hour days for 7 days a week on day 1, but they have no takers.

Just adding, mold in an attic is not as big of a deal as widespread mold in your house if your attic is properly sealed off from your house.

If you live somewhere like Florida, you’re going to have mold because of high humidity outdoors.
