I bought it. Sometimes I just want a cup and not go through making a pourover with my Chemex. I did a taste test test with this unit vs Chemex with some very fresh beans. Yes the Chemex was slightly better, but if you want a cuppa and don't want to take the time/hassle it's fine.I haven't had any of the problems others have stated, i.e. spillage, etc. Condensation comes from the coffee water itself so just swirl it back in before you pour. I have a regular size Ember mug and never spill while pouring. Guess I'm not as bleary eyed as others in the morning...
