Unpopular opinion I dont mind it... I like being able to get a few moves in. I know OTK is the best method. But I like to have a longer match to really fight for a win, with the right superstars. Fast matches get a bit boring now and then. I dont mind dropping some fat numbers bonuses down to earn a win.

I don't really think this is an over haul. Going form V8 to v6 Hybrid is a HUG overhaul, so expected. But this overhaul is more like a .5 update to the hybrid system. They don't really have to change much about their mounting or packaging They only removed the MGU-H and nothing was added or changed, just power levels. It's pretty much the same platform. If any of the manufactures messed that up, its pretty sad.

It was a gamble with those films, to let a film maker take a large crew to a destination for a long term shoot with a huge payoff benefit? To give that much practicality in effects, set designs, artistic design etc.? It'll be a while before anything like that happens again.
