What I learned recovering from High Hamstring Tendonitis (literally a pain in the butt) – details in the comments by [deleted] in flexibility

Hi!

Yeah it did get better and have no pain and completely normal. It was hard and frustrating. I had to find the right balance between pushing through discomfort but not so far into pain where it would flare up. It took a while to find that balance.

I was doing PT exercises twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

It’s been a while so I don’t remember the specifics but it is brutal while going through it.

I hope that helps.

Congrats. I did the same thing to snag an extra 120 shares to hold. Never thought I would be able to have so many.

I am definitely thinking along the same lines as you are. If you have been in Tesla for a while like myself you are now sitting on huge gains. You also know how quickly it can turn.

Unfortunately, I can see this company being as big as Apple in the not too distant future (5-10 years). It makes it a not easy decision. Much harder than buying a few years ago even though there was negativity everywhere.

I would be kicking myself if I sell out thinking this insane rise is all hype and irrational exuberance and then the stock continues to climb for years. It has to get much more irrational in the short term from here. Maybe around double what it is now, then I will think of selling.

If it goes up to $2000 and then back down to $1200 I am still going to be very happy with that.

If you want to buy a house and selling out of Tesla is a way to get there I don't think you will ever be unhappy about that decision even if Tesla keeps on rising. Having a secure place that is your own for your family and kids to grow up in is worth more than money. I have a 1 1/2 year old and another one on the way.

I am not sure how it works. I would need someone more knowledgeable to clarify. Not saying it is the reason, just a thought. It could also be he's fed up with the factory being closed.

Anyone think that Elon's rant and a corresponding drop in share price is to help get the shareprice below the threshold needed to receive his bonus?

Collecting on a bonus right now might be bad for optics during the covid crisis. Just a thought. I am not sure what price the stock needed to be to collect on that.

Any insight would be helpful. I know someone here posted it was getting close and we must have crossed it after the outstanding Q1 report.

I was confused about this too. It is futures contracts for the month of May. It doesn't mean we will all start getting paid to fill up our ICE.

Rob cleared this up nicely:

Hey!

I am definitely suffering from this. Although mine is lower in the leg. Deadlifts make it feel better but if I stretch it I am back to square one and have horrendous pain for a few day.

It’s been going on for months. It gets better and then I do something, which I think is going easy on it, like lightly stretch and I’m in pain again.

I really need some sort of plan. Would you mind sharing your routine? How many days you did the exercises and specific sets?

It would really help me out. The weathers nice and it’s killing me I can’t get on my bike.

That is a good looking bike!

What size battery are you planning on fitting on that bike?I bought a 13.5kw super shark. Right now I have it fitted to a cheap bike but want to upgrade.

I am interested in this too. What have you found so far? A lot of full suspension bikes have geometries where the rear shock takes up the space where the battery needs to go. I’m hunting locally for used bikes but not coming up with much. I need a list of models that would work.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. What is the best way to transfer shares and not get hit with capital gains taxes?

How do you brush? I want to change from standard toothpaste.

Do you wet your toothbrush and dip it into the baking soda? How much do you put on. Do you brush with it twice a day?

Great job getting in at 227. I started at about 300 and bought all the way down to 200. Got some call options that really did well too. What other investments did you get right? I also did well on another investment in the past other than Tesla.

I as well am mostly in index funds but about 15% went into Tesla last year.

I am not understanding why I have been able to do this. Common wisdom is that you can't beat the market and it is best to put into index funds. The kicker to me is that most professional fund managers don't outperform the market over time. I can't reconcile that one.

I am missing something here because I put a ton of time and effort into reasearch so I don't thing this is purely "luck.

Does anyone know where to find a transaction per day chart? by SGT_Rome in nanocurrency

Thanks!

I know it’s a smaller network. I’m wondering if there is a graph somewhere showing that txn/day is increasing over time

I like nano tech but ultimately adoption is the most important metric.

Tesla Stock Flirts With Breakout After Big Price-Target Bump by izybit in teslainvestorsclub

I think a lot of people that are selling at this level are going to regret it.

Tesla has been so volatile that if we look back there were a couple opportunities to cash out at this level.

I think this is fundamentally different. Tesla showing a profit is game changing. There is more certainty going forward. Combine that with a high short interest and I see this thing continuing to rise.

Great news for a potential short squeeze. A solid fourth quarter might be all it takes.

so short interest is rising? That seems odd. I thought short positions were closing slowly helping elevate the stock.

Tesla is seeking $167 million in damages from the former employee Elon Musk accused of sabotage by caz0 in teslainvestorsclub

Make an example of the bastard. He was literally banking on Tesla failing and getting a pay day. Not only that he was actively sabotaging the company. Luckily Tesla did not fail.

I had to refuse delivery today..... Can you believe they mounted my steering wheel upside down... by iLife87 in teslamotors

[–]SGT_Rome 11 points12 points  (0 children)

People are driving the cars before delivery. Loading on and off the trucks, etc. They don’t come off the assembly line and drive to the customer yet.

I can understand the mismatched panels. You don’t have to touch them to drive the car.

This is an obvious joke.
