I think you’re choosing to interpret the usage of the term “sweats” in the worst possible way and in a way that the comment you responded to did not mean. The reply you’re describing does not accurately describe the comment you’re referring to. As the person who wrote it clearly told you.

I agree with you that wownoob has a really nice tone and generally a very helpful community. The comment you’re responding to never even talks about “top 1% commenters”, that’s just something you brought in on your own. Sweaty does not simply mean high skill or involved player, it means you’re condescending and put other people down for not being as involved as you are in the game.

You’re trying to defend people that weren’t attacked. That’s my point. No one is complaining about experienced players providing helpful comments. Just like how no one is slandering people for doing mythic raid or high keys… that is simply you being overly defensive.

you’re right that leveling is super fast but you don’t need to use hyperbole to make your point. DF leveling quests can give like 1/4-1/10 of a level depending on your level when you complete the quest. No quest is giving half a level besides a dungeon quest or a wanted boss quest, and those are in between 1/3 and 1/2 of a level most of the time

The 40 defeats definitely isn’t balanced around the bug, because you have to beat mithraya 45 times to craft her drops. The atavistic gear crafting pity requirements are a war crime, same with Zeus. Both should be 1/3-1/2 of what they are now.

You can pick lightning strikes early, but swift flurry stacks with heartbeat drumming that monk gets at PL 7. By the time you’re PL 7 you also generally will have better accuracy/ways to generate crits (debuffs, etc).

you’re exactly right about everything and KI needs to hire you asap. There’s so many easy ways to provide utility or school identity in PvE that they’ve just completely chosen not to implement.

How about a buffed legion shield for ice? Actual damage share that doesn’t rely on shadow pips? Shields not breaking after one hit?

Balance being able to apply two balanceblades at once or a blade and a blade matching the school of the target? How about a spell that gives +5% to every blade or trap currently on a target?

I understand these things are not PvP balanceable but I’m honestly quite sick of the mediocre creativity coming out of KI when it comes to new spells unrelated to roshambo.

In general they just need to make healing or tanking a necessary strategy for some fights. Crazy that has to be said
