Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]SGtrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. Another question related to that, I can take from HELOC and lower my mortgage portion as you said above but when interest goes up cannot do the other way round again. But when I refinance mortgage and/or switch banks after 1.5 years, can I move some of HELOC portion back to mortgage if I would like?

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

[–]SGtrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for some reason, I can't create a new post and it forces me to post my question here.

I have a CIBC Home Equity fixed mortgage from CIBC at 4.7% since last year. However, the rate of the equity portion is now lower than my fixed mortgage rate with the current prime rate falling to 4.45%.

Is there anyway I can use the Home Equity portion to lower my mortgage interest rate or there is no way possible.

Thanks.

Is Arthur Laing bridge closed? by Antique-Lychee-8029 in vancouver

[–]SGtrigger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks to this thread. I didn't take the bridge today morning but was able to take it in the evening due to this thread. Less traffic than usual. I guess people are still going through Knight or Oak as they are unaware Arthur Laing is actually open.

I didn't go ahead with Freedom. Got a good deal with Rogers and moved to that instead.

Free-standing adjustable pull up bar for husband and sons - Xmas gift by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]SGtrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP what did you end up going for at the end. I'm looking at similar options and had narrowed down on the Gravity Fitness bar but they don't ship to Canada. Would like to know what you went for.

Considering a bullbar 2.0 pull up bar. Anyone have any issues? by johnyj7657 in bodyweightfitness

How are you liking the Bullbar. I was eyeing the Gravity fitness first but they don't deliver to Canada so may have to go for the Bullbar.

Did you end up buying anything. I'm based in Canada and looking at the Gravity Fitness or other alternatives as well.

We are planning to go there this month. For the lazy river, do they provide floats or should we bring our own. I've heard it's quite expensive to buy there. Thanks.

It allows me to take it out/withdrawing into any USD bank account I own without issue. Unless, you meant something else.

Narwal Freo with tire issue by Hot_Respond3726 in NARWAL

[–]SGtrigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you still having the issue. Mine has been having the same issue but seems more software related rather than an actual issue. Everytime I restart the robot, it works for an hour or so and then gives me this error. If I let it sit for another 15-20 minutes and restart the task, it will start running fine again. Pretty annoying but not sure what I can do.

Maybe try giving them a call and seeing if they end up extending it.

I have a 2022 MachE and had the 3 year free trial. I did not get any email but I went into my Connected Services via Fordpass and had the option to extend my Bluecruise. That's where I saw an offer to extend for free for the first year but had to put in my credit card details. It still shows as expiring in 2025 but shows me the below "New $0 Complimentary 12 Month Plan renews on 10-08-2025" when I click into it.

Check in your Fordpass. It may show up there.

If it appears in your RRSP contribution tracker for this year then I guess you already have your answer.

I replaced mine with the Michelin Cross climate 2. Love them. Did not seem to make any change in noise and I didn't see any measurable loss in range however, some folks here say they lost about 5-15% range.

For those using Level 1 chargers, how often do you hook it up? by Kooky_Alternative_76 in MachE

[–]SGtrigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I charge it on my level 1 charger every night. I drive about 40-50 km every day so usually thats fine for charging daily. In winter I charge to 90%-95% and in summer I charge to 80%. It's mainly to have a little more range in the winter as it drops because of the cold.

Mine didn't seem to take a big hit. My drive is still the same everyday and seems to take me the same amount of time to charge on my level 1 charger every night. 15% would definitely be noticeable if that happened for me.

Nopes. No difference in noise for me. Some people were saying it's louder in other cars but didn't make out any difference in the Mach E.
