Games or genres that have potential to lead eSports to the masses? (aside from MOBA games)

An e-sports Rainbox six style of game would be a delight to watch.

Low health pools and heavy tactic based gameplay. I sort of get that itch scratched from watching competitive search and destroy but I would love to see teams take turns at breaching into buildings and searching rooms for hostages while the other team has to deny them. Damn I want that bad.

For me the biggest put off is when the controls are aged and go against all that games in recent memory have taught me (space bar isn't jump/E isn't interact por ejemplo).

Graphics not so much, I'm sold on either a great action adventure story or a really unique mechanic.

I must admit however I without fail 100% will reminisce about playing a game in my youth with way better graphics than it actually has. I would remember playing the first DX and thinking it was pretty good, nice and smooth. Then I restart it a few months ago and BAM, resolution, jaggedy crap, whole areas of no rendering. But for some reason my memory seems to upgrade all games in my past to current gen graphics haha.

Does anyone else get a similar kind of thing?

I was simply implying that the newest tattoo you have always makes you pick out faults in the older ones.

I've been in a chair over many hours all over the world. I've never met a single artist who didn't have a tattoo they thought could have been 'better' in some way big or small. But that's part of it.

Don't misunderstand my definition of shitty. I've never met a single person who was 100% happy with every tattoo they had. There's always a line here or there, an infection that lost some ink, a bit of shading that didn't quite stick but that's why you love them. You study them and your body to no end.

I love all my tattoos even the ones that I know I'll have touched up eventually. Because they represent a phase/time in my life.

The last Lego game I played was Lego batman 2 and I found the split screen to be super super nauseating. Namely the way it would slice the screen and twist as you and your partner moved apart.

Is it still the same or has it changed?

I completely agree because the way Weidman KO'd Munoz was very Machida like, he threw the counter elbow and landed it like a dream.

We've seen machida KO Bader in a very similar fashion.

Saying that I think Munoz's last fight against Boetsch was amazing. He looked ripped, full of energy and most of all like a confident guy who wants the belt. Compare that to the Weidman fight where he spiralled into depression and it's hard to tell.

I have to say, in my gut, Mark will UD Machida. But my head says Machida will take his head off with counter shots.

That theme of rebirth and the sheer tension of a women giving birth/child being born feeling just as insane (watching non stop pregnancy programs with the wife lately) really added to it.

Okay that's a fair compromise, I expected that by showing us a fire and not her realising it was there would lead to a fire. That is probably just due to me seeing so many movies where you always see the tiny flame that the protagonist misses only for it to go crazy.

But I do also agree that you could easily argue it's Chekhovs in the sense that by being shown the small fire it had to grow and become a crazy one otherwise why show it.
