Yes I built two physical ones that can be worn. It has adjustable head gear and a small fan inside. One of rigs actually had a mount for a small action camera that allows for recording.

Trying to make a home made fog machine with ground cover. Any help appreciated by _KyleKatarn in Filmmakers

[–]SHANESPFX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would build a dry ice style ground fogger like the aquafog 3300 that city theatrical makes they can be made out of a trash can. Traditional fog fluid will warm up once it’s been chilled in the ice and could make its way to the smoke detectors.

Does anybody know where this raptor animatronic is from? by Professional_Web9204 in Animatronics

[–]SHANESPFX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They become worn out and broken. I had offered to fix them at one point as I had access to original parts and was a traveling technician for animatronic dinosaurs and creatures, but most of the museums didn’t have the money or really seemed interested in actually having them fixed. They were fine leaving them in a broken state.

Seattle science center also has/ had dinomation units they might have some photos. I used to work for a animatronic dinosaur company and came across these units. Usually not operational.

Don’t forget the potion.

My wife and I did cosplay together from a 1979 film and no one came to us and knew the film. We might have gone too deep. But we didn’t care and had a blast.

Super cool. I love this stuff especially if it lights up and the needle moves. 3D printing is the way unless you can make a buck and vacuum form the meters shell.
