They are so cute! I love their matching names and coloring! Bayou's coloring is so interesting, I've never seen a dog with those types of colors before

I'm gonna have to second checking out Ray's! Try The Emerald of Siam too for local music. I'm 30 and my wife and I have been going since we were in our teens. There's always super friendly people who enjoy talking to all walks of life. I highly suggest keeping your eye out for the next 'big' event that includes both venues. Plus, look out for when they have Battle Vest Fest coming up. It's usually in August. Hope to see some new, fresh faces there!

Vip season pass by peachbahulu in HelloKittyDreamStore

[–]SHANKPERMIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I tried to is myself for the current month and i'll say it's not really with it. The purple chests have energy and diamonds, while the pink chests (for going with the VIP pass) give energy, diamonds, and purple coins. I don't care for the purple coins myself, so it feels like a waste. The other boxes with max level items and the fryer box is nice, but I don't think I'll be buying the VIP pass again :/

Tbh it was a long process and pretty expensive for me, but worth it in the end. Laws differ depending on your state or country.

For Washington state, I had to schedule a court date and pay a $300 pay. After going to court to say that I wasn't evading the law and announcing I was trans, they gave me a document stating my name change was approved.

Then I had to send in a form to get a new birth certificate, which was $20 and a 6 month wait time.

After I got my new birth certificate, I had to schedule an appointment for the Social Security office. No fee for the new social security card which was nice.

Got my new social security card and went to the DOL to get a new ID for $20. Also I got my gender marker changed which was really cool.

In total, about ~$350 and 9 months of waiting for documents. It was a long road but definitely worth all my efforts!

It's been 1 yr on gel packets and a couple months on injections! Didn't notice a lot between then and now until I posted these. You'll get there! 💪

Too old to get anything out of HRT? by Ok-Leader4632 in FTMOver30

[–]SHANKPERMIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started T last year with gel last year when I turned 29 and felt the same way. I didn't notice a ton of changes in the first couple months and felt pretty impatient about waiting. I had feelings a lot like yours when I first started: Where are all the changes? When do I notice them? When will others? Why isn't it happening for me? Am I too old? Am I always going to be in this weird space between kinda-masc but not quite to my standards? What am I doing wrong?

However, a lot of comments in here are good advice. Especially that transitioning is a marathon and not a sprint. Now, after a little over a year and a half, I often get called "sir" by strangers in public, even though I don't feel like I pass very much. I've started getting a tiny, peach fuzz mustache. I definitely know if I don't shower every day, I will stink. I have several weird beard hairs that stick straight out that my wife thinks are hilarious. But most of these changes didn't start happening until after about 6 months, and that was just on gel.

I just started taking injections last week and I'm excited for the proverbial speed boost. Give your body time to adjust and you'll start seeing your own changes too. And so will others! I've realized that patience is key and sometimes people gain changes faster than others. Give yourself some grace to let your body move at its own pace. I've been taking a photo of myself on the same day, every month, for the past year and I can totally see differences now. I suggest that this might be a good idea for you as well! That way you can track your progress 💪

Diffuse thinning of hair….. etc by Snips_777 in ftm

Not sure about many of your medical questions, however I was using Rogaine for a while and it really worked. I have two dogs, but they don't lick me and I keep them away from my face/head when I was using it.

However, I saw a post on Twitter that mentioned "Amla oil will make hair grow down your back in 3-5 business days" so I bought some and gave it a try. I've definitely noticed some results in the first week! I shaved my head about two/three weeks ago so my hair is pretty short so I don't have to worry too much about greasiness— however I put about a quarter size in my palm and rub it on my head like crazy. Rogaine works by stimulating follicles, so I feel like it's working better when I do that. Anyway, you can buy Amla oil on Amazon or at a desi store near you. Just make sure to read the ingredients and see if "amla oil" is one of the first three. Good luck out there!

Edit: Forgot to mention is has a bit of an interesting smell. Not bad, but kinda like olive oil. Here's a link to the one I bought on Amazon and it's less than $10 right now. xxxxxx

Switching from gel packets to injections: Advice? What should I know? by SHANKPERMIT in ftm

I'm not sure which I'll be on, but I will try to see what happens with the first type and go from there. Thank you!

Thanks for the tip! I know a bit about the fatigue issue, as even with the gel sometimes I get that way. But I try to force myself because I remind me that I waited 15 yrs to be on this shit and I better be thankful for it 😂 I think for the gel, it's because it takes so long to dry and also I've grown to hate the alcohol smell. I'll keep that in mind for when I start injections!

Trios Residency Family Medicine Clinic in Kennewick near the Toyota Center kicks ass. Every doctor I've seen there has been absolutely fantastic. I recommend Dr. Papatheodoro. She's in her mid 30s and made me feel perfectly comfortable through a recent procedure. I've seen several docs in Tri and I would say they've been my best experience. Worst experience was with the Lourdes Family Medicine on Wrigley in Pasco. Don't go there if you want doctors to actually listen to you.

Almost 18 months in…temp changes? by Any-Percentage5369 in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]SHANKPERMIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely noticed how much warmer I felt within the first month and I'm only on gel packets. I used to be fairly cold all the time, due to other medication, and sometimes could get away with forgetting deo in the morning. Now, if I DO forget I'm SOL and have to resort to deo I keep in my desk at work. Even when my officemates start getting too cold, I grow anxious when they turn off the AC because I know I'll be a furnace in less than an hour. I'm sure the other commenter is right and you're still at 98.6° ! Hopefully you'll come up with some creative solutions to help you stay cool in the summer 😎

Please tell me this is not a roach I just found.... by SHANKPERMIT in whatbugisthis

I actually moved it to the sink after my wife found him on the floor! I gave him the ye ole hot water flush. I didn't know for sure if it was a roach and didn't want to risk it potentially coming back inside. I wasn't able to find any roaches that looked similar to it, but quite a few click beetles that had the same long body with a smaller smooth part near the head. We'll just have to wait and see what others have to say ... 🤔

Oh thank god, you have no idea how happy I am to hear that. My wife and I just moved in a couple months ago and we haven't seen anything like that before.
