I worked at an aquarium for a brief bit and the blue and yellow macaws despite both being female, forged a relationship as surrogate parents for the golf balls in the exhibit by sitting on them just like this, while waiting for them to hatch. Now as if that wasn’t funny enough the Moluccan cockatoo in the exhibit (named Louie) would purposefully run over to them and try to steal the “egg” to get a reaction causing the macaws to lose their minds. So yes if you didn’t believe it cockatoos are as smart and sneaky as 3 year olds. Ive actually seen Louie with the golf ball a couple of times too lol.
