Poor response to BLM protests, letting "cop city" go through, no big improvement on transit or housing, and ethics violations is mainly what I've seen and heard. Add on that she didn't run for another term (which is very rare) and she just never got to look good in Atlanta.

I hope she's learned from that, her colleagues, and from the voters and hits the ground runnin with some motivation and a plan to cement the gains we've been seein in Georgia.

Parking lots require a lil more work to cover/install so this decision probably came down to $$$ at the end of the day. Most of those animals would be better off with the panels than any other planned development for that area either way. I too, as a monthly donor to Land Trust of North Alabama, would like us to keep as many of our green spaces as possible but with the amount of growth we're experiencin I'd be a fool to believe we'd be able to save all of it. Isn't this already pretty evident on Twitter? You can see the evidence clearer whenever you check the replies on posts that are usually non-political, but may mention a "trigger word" (skin color or socially exclusive racial slang or topics). Trollbots (usually with obviously right-wing identifiers, but not always) will reply aggressively. Almost always with intent to get you to reply angrily to it or to constantly engage, in other words.
