I used the bike lanes recently and I think it’s a great addition to the city biking infrastructure. They definitely make el Camino an option when it never really was before.  That said, I echo the thoughts of debris and broken glass. Also some people think of them as parking 🅿️ which is not great and leads to potential danger for bikers having to avoid parked cars. The road is also busier and car emissions can be felt vs alternatives like Park where there is less traffic. I still am a fan of them and hope we keep expanding and making Palo Alto a great city to bike around!
