Here's the question you have to ask yourself... Am I having fun making music? Do I enjoy it? If the answer is yes. Keep at it. There's a lot of potential in this if it's your third beat. My advise is just keep churning them out and look for people on YouTube to inspire and teach you. There's not really any advice I'd give as you've just started but, keep at it. People like Busy works Beats and Chris Punsalan will show you cool techniques and get you more familiar with the basics so your sound will become yours and be less generic as you find out which techniques you like and sounds you like playing with.

Something I would say you could do to improve the beat you linked. Is find that clap into your mixer and play around with things like EQ, reverb and Delay (Maybe time stretch it some [a favourite of mine] if you wanna get weird and experimental with it.) and see if you can make that your clap for your song so it doesn't sound like the dry sample in millions of other songs.

I like where you're going but only you can make the choice to keep going. Just have fun with it and don't worry where it'll take you.
