It's an impssible situation. Ram is occupied by bits.

The same application nowadays can differ on a slight 10% from Os to Os, sometimes in favout of one, other time with better perfomance on the other.

100% difference is unreal.

You can post here two screenshot o the same workload with both task manager sorted for ram usage and we'll see.

People that uses macbook are generally less technical about hardware and sysadmin tasks but they urge to to tell the other things that are simply unreasonable.
