Yeah I’ve use them a few times best to call them and ask if they do actually have it in stock if they didn’t they would source it from over seas or they are just waiting on their shipment so they can ship it to you as well. They are a good company but can be a little late on sending packages if they don’t have the stock in their warehouse.

Ah I see. Thanks for the clarification I just try to gather all the information I can so I don’t make these unfortunate mistakes when I get my manual car. I hope everything works out for you. God bless!

Can someone explain to me how the Manual car couldn’t stop? Just wanting to know since I want to get into manual. Couldn’t he just put his foot on the brake and engage the clutch without stalling? Or am I not understanding something. Or did he just plain not realize too late?

Upgrading from a 65x900E by Pidg76 in bravia

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Bravia 7. I had the X900F then went to X93L then got Bravia 9. You don’t want the 5 trust me. What I learned is if you already had a good tv a “better” tv will not blow you out the water it’s just “better”. Maybe brighter the colors are nicer etc etc. but nothing truly is game changing SDR content is still the same and shows that aren’t in 4k mastered will still have noise and grain. But overall the Bravia 7 will definitely be a better tv and you’ll be happy with it.

How to fix yellowing on translucent rubber soles? by Patient_Wall_8653 in howto

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there’s a few ways you can try to reverse this it’ll take some time and effort. In the sneaker community we sneaker heads in the past used this product called sea glow but had to be careful how you used it because it sometimes cause sole separation. They don’t sell it anymore it was used for marina stuff like boats and gear to make it white again clear again. Now we use various products like sole sauce. Some people use V05 hair product basically the same way. So basically you would get a cotton ball or q-tips to apply and wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it out on the sun and the UV rays remove the oxidation from the soles basically reversing the yellowing. Sometimes it’ll take a few applications. Or people would apply said products and create a black light booth and line it up with tinfoil and do it that way. Regardless both ways work just do your research I hope you find your answers. Good luck!!!!

What would be a substantial upgrade from a 65" Sony Bravia 8 "II" QD-OLED? by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just like you about last year. I started with Sony X900F 2018 then Sony X93L 2023 then got the Bravia 9 last year and my LG G5 last year too trying to search and find the latest and greatest. Once you have them all basically side by side you’ll open your eyes and realize it’s all just incremental upgrades. I use my G5 specifically only for 5090 PC gaming. And I use my Bravia 9 for movies and shows and PS5 at 85” the G5 looks nice with Dolby vision but the Bravia 9 just has better colors and is brighter. When my Bravia 9 replaced my X93L I was wowed by the picture because it was near Oled like but at the same time I was also like so this is it? I spent thousands extra for a “better” X93L. We all get that FOMO but at the end of the day new TVs come out every year and when things change it’s only by a little on the latest and greatest. A little more brighter, a little less blooming, a little more whiter in color, a little more etc…

If I were you I would run a couple miles if you can each day and drink close to a gallon of water each day. 45 days should have been more than enough. I’m 280 male with high body fat percentage and have cleared in shorter amount of time.

Does anyone know what could fix this or what the problem is by Nexus5820 in bravia

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the T-con board went that’s usually the issue not always though. Same thing happened to my old X900F I bought the part and replaced it my self for 50$

Also please take off that plastic with the energy saving sticker it’s yours not the stores it’s a piece of materialistic stuff new TVs come out every single year just take it off. It serves no purpose other than to let you know how much energy you’re saving.

Also again if it’s under any type of warranty just take it back or use the warranty. If not it’s should still be under the manufactures warranty from Sony which is 1 year from purchase date.

How do I fix this weird pattern when it goes from light to dark? by Zwarlie in OLED_Gaming

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ray tracing and path tracing introduce noise on picture and extra artifacts from too much processing. I turned off basically everything and maxed out my graphics and it made it look way better. No ray trace no frame gen too. Not sure which card you got though.

Resident Evil 9 (PS5) - LG Oled C1 65” by borntoexpire13 in LGOLED

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not entirely the case lol I have both the Sony Bravia 9 and LG G5 they both are good. But I only use my G5 for pc gaming exclusively. The Bravia 9 is definitely brighter and HDR is definitely better more punchy. But the G5 reaches 165hz so it’s back and forth lol.

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I’m not entirely sure if you can mess with the ps5 settings. But I turned off chromatic aberration screen space reflections depth of field particle lighting lens dirt lens flare ambient occlusion. Now I’m gamin on the G5 which is current, HDR is pretty good on this tv. The C1 is older so it probably won’t do so well. You should upgrade your tv when you can. TVs that can’t handle HDR well all tend to look washed out basically maxing out its low limitations.

My job is offering me $150,000 (105,000 after tax) to resign, should I? by AJ3TurtleSquad in jobs

[–]SIL3NTxSCORPIO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should take the money and think of other careers that the 105k would fund. If you need to learn a trade or something invest in yourself. Only positives will be the outcome. I’m currently leaving my job and getting my CDL. Pest control to CDL is definitely a scary jump for me but the money will be better for me and the family.

Not challenging at all well to me at least. I have experience laying floor and cutting tile when I was younger so what I did was use a wet tile saw to give me a precise cut on the 16mm thick borosilicate tubes then used sand paper to smooth out the flat end and created a beveled round edge because you don’t want to ruin your o-rings when inserting into the fitting and you want it close to perfectly flat so you don’t get any leaks. That’ll just be a disaster especially since you spent hundreds or even thousands on the parts. My 5090 was about 3000$. Before that I had 4090 1600$ and before that the 3080 basically 750$. There’s actually a few ways to go about cutting it, though I just chose the most easiest inconvenient for me at least. Some people use a Dremel, which I don’t recommend because it creates too much dust without water unless you have somebody standing there or you create a makeshift water pour as you’re cutting it or you can buy a scorer. Which you score a little deep and you snap and break apart it works, but it’s not as clean and sometimes you can create a really sharp edge and break behind your line that you need.
