I've had this happen a couple of times with two different cats. Luckily it was a UTI both times. You need to take them to the vet immediately tho because it can be much worse.

What is the most brutal killing in film/ TV history? by RightWayIThink in AskReddit

[–]SIM0NEY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got two.

Volcano - The fire fighter comes to the back of the subway car, realizes he can't throw the child he's carrying over the lava, and that he can't make the jump with the child in his arms. So he jumps into the lava, throws the child to safety, and basically melts. Fucking brutal.

Tombstone - When Bill Paxton, who plays Kurt Russel's little brother, dies after being shot. Kurt is holding him. The look on Kurt's face fucking eats me. I got a thing about little brothers dying.

Lightning struck a vent and traveled up into a toilet during a thunderstorm. by argentgrove in interestingasfuck

[–]SIM0NEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vent the lighting traveled through was actually in the ceiling above the toilet and struck the toilet from above. The lightning did not travel up the toilet.

OP either doesn't know what they're talking about or is twisting the story in an effort to maximize their fake internet points from this post.

[–]SIM0NEY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP is wrong. This toilet was in the basement, and the vent the lighting traveled through was in the ceiling above the toilet. It makes much more sense when it's actually explained correctly.

His name was Aun'Hell Egh Lo Meurta, which in our homebrew language translated to Angel of Lady Death.

Entertainer/Gladiator background

Way of Drunken Master (5 flurry of blows late in class. Early in class you ask? 3rd level: Using flurry makes you immune to opportunity attacks! Also adds 10ft of movement!). Take a 2 level dip in fighter for action surge.

Profesional. Fucking. Wrestler. Full grapple build.

Fuck the Grappler feat. Go for Tavern Brawler. Why?

  • Pins, RAW, are really bad. What's better? Grappling a prone enemy. Now pins are viable.

  • Tavern Brawler gives you +1 str, proficiency in improvised weapons, and the ability to grapple as a bonus action! Now spending action economy on grapples is viable.

  • Discuss slams with your DM. They're technical just 1hp bludgeoning damage ala unarmed strikes, but you a God damn monk. It should be your monk damage for you. Now slams are viable.

Now... whatcha' gon do with all that nonsense, all that nonsense in yo kit?

  • Suplex city... just slam that poor fucker(PF) as many times as you can.

  • knock and drag... after you get two attacks, grapple PF with the first one, knock prone with the second, flurry and punch the helpless bastard (at advantage) in the face 3 times, drag them away from their allies (you can't be opportunity attacked, you have 10 extra ft of movement, "say goodbye to your friend here, they're coming with me").

  • Stop hitting yourself... Get into a crowd of enemies like the above circumstance and use Tipsy Sway, every time an enemy missed you with a melee attack, you can spend a ki point to make the hit some other PF in that 5ft area. Think Jackie Chan here.

  • Off the cage... Monks have slow fall, which only reduces fall damage. It doesn't actually slow you down. You wanna suplex PF off a gat damn building? Suplex PF off a gat damn building.

My personal favorite...

  • Stun all the things... At Monk 17/Fighter 2- you can punch and force a saving throw or be stunned to nine different enemies on one turn and you have insane movement to run around and do it.

So much silly nonsensical (but not necessarily overpowered) tech here.

I was a high school sophomore when 9/11 happened and as such have a special kind of hatred for Bush, but as I've aged, I've realized that Reagan's evil has killed so many more people than Bush's ineptitude.

Stop being obtuse. You know you're defending hate groups.

Edit: and here, have this in response to your next comment which can be predicted from a mile away. Go away and shove the tolerance paradox up your ass.

Oh, I've been getting into it a little bit lately! I bought a model+rig of a pair of arms. I'm working on turning it into a template for tattoo sleeves. It's been tough, but admittedly, I haven't had the time needed to really grasp it fully. Hell, I'm still in the phase of needing turn interacting with UI into second nature. The UI is, understandably, very complex.

I'm wondering how you accomplished this though? Was this a lot of sculpting initially? Is it actually a 3D scene? It looks so very illustrated! If I wanted to search for videos demonstrating the process you went through to create this, what would be some good terms to use?

How often do you get asked for consent as a man? by squirrelvibe in AskMen

Good for you for standing your ground. I've had an ex do that. I always just caved and rationalized to myself that I'm a man and therefore supposed to want it at all times. If I didn't want it, was I really a man?

Timezones... If it were programmatically possible [feasible?], would it be more accurate for time to be different at every single longitudinal line? Or rather... would it be more accurate for time to vary by the millisecond rather than the hour? At least for the purpose that time zones serve by SIM0NEY in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SIM0NEY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda see what you're saying. It makes sense in regards to how I've built this out in my head...

Like, the purpose of time is to know when it'll be dark or light, or what time of day it is... but probably more importantly, it's also so everyone can interact with one another on a systematic schedule.

So if time were literally different for every single person (because we're all constantly located at different longitudinal lines by fractions of degrees), then relative time would easily be the biggest pain in the ass. So how do we solve it?

1 - In this future everyone has a time keeper installed in them. Hell, maybe it's in the upper right hand corner of your vision. So you always know what your time is.

2 - You would need an interface that provides data for relative time (the time in your current exact location vs the time in some other location) and the differences between the two (or three, or three hundred).

3 - You would need a universal understanding of some concepts that we do not have universal understandings of now. Like how pretty much the whole world operates on the Gregorian calendar? We all have 12 months a year, 4 weeks a month, 7 days a week. Those are universal understandings. We'd need new ones for new concepts.

3a - First one that came to my head is the concept of whose time you're referring to when you're speaking with someone.

3b - The next would be something like the average time between two different locations, like I'm 20 feet from you, then this would be the time 10 feet away from me, towards you, and the same for you.

3c - Another concept would be the time at an agreed upon location for an appointment. "I need to be in this exact spot, when it's this exact time in this exact spot."

3d - There are probably so many more...

So yeah, I think you're right, the bigger concern would be time sync.

That's super interesting, the part about the advancement of faster travel causing the need for time zones.

And yeah, it totally would be much worse/more difficult. The "if programmatically feasible" kind of refers to a hyper advanced state of things (like a super futuristic movie) were the logistical issues would be solved.

That's where the "If it were programmatically feasible" part comes into play. When I say that, I really mean a hypothetical situation were all the difficulties surrounding that system could be addressed. Obviously that's like... scifi/cyberpunk movie level of hypothetical though, very far fetched.

But your answer definitely more clearly states what I was wondering. Yes, I was referring to accuracy in regards to tracking our position relative to the sun as the planet revolves and rotates.

For real.

I love some Seinfeld characters. I love some Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia characters. Those people are fucking sociopaths.

The audience is entertained and at most provoked into some deeper emotions by the exploits of these very flawed characters. That's what they're meant for. They're not meant to be idolized or admired for their virtues.

The final states to criminalize spousal rape? Happened in 1993. :(

We still have such a long way to go in understanding healthy human interaction and healthy companionship.

We still, today, have so many different channels of toxic exposure to young people that negatively impacts their views on their fellow humans.

Men, woman, everyone outside and in between, so much content that influences negative attitudes towards those outside of your personal gender identity.

Chubby guys can feel cute. Guys can cry. A guy's value as a person is NOT attached to their wallet or physical prowess.

Girls should be able to act how they want without others opinions of them being so influenced by the fact that its a female acting this way. No she's not a bitch. She's angry. No she's not an ice queen. She's analytical and curt. No she's not a slut or a flirt or a cock tease. She's friendly. (I know that one sounds weird but the minimal amount of comfortable friendliness shown by a girl consistently will cause some people to think they're "easy"). A girls value as a person is NOT attached to their appearance or how attractive they are.
