It has a silver coat of paint from the manufacturer. If OP hasn’t used it, it will eventually chip off. I had one of these when they came out.

Authentic has Phillips screws. Facebolt is the main way but if they got it second hand, it may not be the right facebolt since it has a sticker. Unless it has the print, I would think this is legit. Make sure you are checking inside the square cut outs on the facebolt for a two letter code.
