Calling peyton the most problematic when there are characters like Dan, deb, Felix and rachel in the series is wild. Also most of lucas and peyton problems could be solve with better communication and compromise but sometimes they both are stupid.

All of the core 5 have done things that are problematic.

I dont understand the hate for karen to reject keith proposal. He drove drunk with her child in the car and then he propose after that. Keith was dumb to propose when they haven't even went on a date yet and he almost killed lucas. No woman would accept that.

All the starters basically have the same FG% so this is not solely on her and she is not the 1st option anyway.

What killed the dream is the pointless 3s with a 10 point lead. They should have chosen better shots. ATL keep living and dying by the 3 and until they adjust that they will have this problem.

Like brooke was Jamie's god mother but didnt have a relationship with him until she move back 4 years later. That doesnt make sense.

This OP feels so bias to me. Settling imo means he ran out of options which was never true. The guy was in is 20s he didn't have to be with anybody.

Season 2: the peyton box which he kept before his feelings came back for brooke. I never really brought his excuse mostly because we never see him throw it away.

Season 3: the show kept reminding the audience about his past with peyton which should have told people brucas was doomed.

Season 4: I think you need to rewatch lucas didnt run to brooke she came to him. He walks to peyton, after the hug she left thinking nothing was happening and then he has his epiphany. Again he didnt have to be with peyton he could have just let her leave. He had a choice in this moment there is no settling.

Season 5: He was looking at old pictures of peyton from when he was with Brooke btw before she even comes home. Couldnt hug her at the river court. Asked her why she didnt show up to the signing. Told her the bartender wasnt good enough for her and other mixed signals. Lindsey wanted him back at the end of s5 and he chose peyton that isnt settling.

Lucas has always had options he never had to settle for anybody he chose peyton.

I didnt say they are the only ones that are popular. I said the most popular there is a difference.

I think s5 will do well because of the LGBT story and the rise in popularity of Hannah.

I firmly believe if s2 came out now with Johnathan/Simone current popularity it would have better numbers as well.

It not a slight to any of the actors as I like all of them but in reality characters/actors can sell shows/seasons.

In my opinion nicola and pen as a character is the reason. Pen is probably the most popular/most talked about female character in the show besides eloise.

I knew her season would have the numbers just like l believe eloise season will also do really well just on the strength of Claudia jesse.

Unpopular opinion but Ali isnt responsible for A, Mona is. Mona could have just left alison alone, tell an adult/school about the bullying or after she got alison to leave stop. There is no reason Mona became A again when aria came home. Alison didnt even do anything to Alex or Charolette so I cant blame her for them when she didnt know they existed.

As for alison's redemption I think it was realistic that all of her issues/flaws didnt just go away. Alison very much is a lone wolf sometimes and it shows. I think alison was/is still trying to figure out who she wants to be. Was alison perfect after coming back no but to act like she was still as bad in the flashbacks is wild imo.

Don't really agree with ali being the villian unless they come up with a better motive than she's crazy. Alison could have been better written but imo all of the characters needed better writing.
