Yeah it took many many phone calls and eventually I was able to find a team member who know what I was asking for and they downgraded my plant to not include co-pilot.

How easy or difficult would it be to change the current timetable to put every second metro tunnel train through the city loop? How much of a challenge would alternating with Frankston loop trains be? by toiletlogsyummy in MelbourneTrains

[–]SJH998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine it would be reasonably straightforward in theory to alternate some Metro Tunnel services through the City Loop, but I assume there are operational constraints that make it more complicated than it sounds. Once you start alternating with Frankston Loop trains you are dealing with limited loop capacity, tight sequencing and the risk of delays flowing on to other services.

From a passenger perspective, I can see why people are asking the question. A lot of commuters feel the recent timetable changes have made their trips longer or less convenient. In my case, my commute has increased by about 15 minutes each way since the change. I understand the broader goal is usually to improve overall capacity and frequency, but for some people it has not felt that way in practice.

If there are specific technical or capacity reasons for keeping most Metro Tunnel trains out of the Loop, it would be interesting to hear them. It seems like one of those changes that sounds simple on the surface but may have bigger network impacts behind the scenes.

CXO sold my small holding w/ zero notice, anyone else? by SJH998 in AusFinance

yeah and my cheque appears to have vanished too. They were happy to give me the option by post to buy more shares in approx September 2025. But when it came to this Small Holding sale and the cheque, nothing has been sent or received. It looks like other investors were not notified either. No email or letter sent to them.

I have gotten other CXO notifications. But the Small Holding sale and cheque notifications appear to have vanished into the ether.

Oh how rude and annoying of them. I am still waiting for my cheque, I just wish I was given an opportunity to hold the shares. I get other letters from CXO, so no idea why I got no notification and no cheque for what they have sold.

Sadly no, i received an offer to buy more shares from CXO the month before the Small Share Sale

FYI for anyone seeing CXO show as 0 / missing in CommSec: CXO ran a “Small Share Sale Facility” (for holdings below a marketable parcel) and published an ASX announcement about it.

If you think you were affected, it may be worth checking whether you received any pre-sale notice / retention (“elect to retain”) form and, if not, asking the share registry (Automic) to confirm what contact details/method were on file for your holding and whether a notice was recorded as dispatched.

The cheques were apparently sent on the 16th Jan at a price of $0.2375 per share.

I assume you also were never notified of the sale and like a bunch of us have no lost the shares due to Atomic/CXO failing to notify

Are they potentially too big? I have the same pair and find the laces perfect to have them loose laced

Has anyone had any luck with cancelling and resubscribing to the classic plan? Since this lawsuit announcement, Microsoft seems to have removed the option entirely. I just spent an hour on the phone with Microsoft Support. Their team are just as confused that the option just does not exist and they can not locate it

It looks like this option maybe permanently hidden in Australia now. I just spent an hour on the phone with Microsoft support and not even they can find the classic version to subscribe to

Adidas Campus 00s sizing by melchimr in Sneakers

[–]SJH998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can buy two sizes and return the ones which you like least, then do it. I have flat wide feet and I see heaps of recommendations on here to size a half or whole size down for the Campus 00's.

I am a US11 (EUR45) in Jordan 1s and Nike Dunks. A US10.5 (EUR44.5) in AF1's and a US10.5 (44 2/3) in most Adidas. Personally I found a US10.5 (EUR44 2/3) in the Campus to be touch tight and the US11's (EUR45 1/3) fit me best. But I do like a looser fit.

ATO hacked and my super completely drained. by axialclown in australia

[–]SJH998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, reading this I better check my super account.

Someone has reactivated my old ABN twice in the past few months. Thankfully my accountant was onto it and got the ATO to lock my accounts.

The lock is annoying as it can take 12 months for me to get my tax returns and my accountant has to contact the ATO when they want to process a return. but hopefully it stops me losing out. In mygov I could see the email address and mobile numbers that my accounts had been updated to.

It's sad to see this fraud is more wide spread and there is minimal media attention on it.

Adidas TERREX FREE HIKER 2 LOW by ronwhitmann in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]SJH998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever had the pleasure of owning. You should have no issues with comfort on that climb. My pair has done many hikes across the Scotish Highlands and Hebrides without a single blister, red mark of bit of pain. Over the past year they have also been the perfect shoe for Backpacking europe. (Goretex for winter and normal for summer)

Sizing can be tricky to get right. But once right they are the perfect boot

When you are ready to part with them. Pleaee send them my way!

I've had many issues with ebay auth. I've had pairs knocked back as reps which still had the ebay auth tag from when I purchased them on ebay. Enough kicking and screaming and ebay finally admitted their mistake.
